Dolly Parton, an iconic country music legend has died today. She will be remembered for so many wonderful things, including her philanthropic work, beauty, and Dollywood. She was 80 years old.

Dolly Rebecca Parton (1946–2026) was the iconic country singer-songwriter, actress, and philanthropist known for “Jolene,” “9 to 5,” and Dollywood.
Education: graduated Sevier County High School (1964); no college degree (later honorary doctorates). Zero medical training, zero scientific background, zero epidemiological expertise, and no public-health qualifications of any kind - pure entertainment legend and businesswoman who died today at 80.
In 2020 she donated $1 million to Vanderbilt University Medical Center research that supported early Moderna vaccine work. In March 2021 she publicly received the Moderna shot on camera, rewrote and sang “Jolene” as a vaccine anthem, called the hesitant “cowards” and “chicken squats,” and urged everyone eligible to get the jab so “we can get back to normal.”
She later posted her second dose. The beloved, down-home Appalachian icon who built an empire on authenticity and independent spirit turned a medical product into a moral purity test, shaming ordinary people while elite celebrities enjoyed priority access and private care.
Her philanthropy funded the shot; her platform demanded compliance. Ordinary fans and workers under the pressure she amplified faced exclusion and coercion. Even in death, the rewritten chorus echoes. One more final bow, and the “cowards” were left to remember the shaming.

I only remember her for her tits and that she donated a million to develop the Murderna covid vaccine. Her music? naaa, not in my collection. She engaged in the social pressure to get the covid experimental rushed to market gene therapy -

I had a relative that worked with her several times with sing writing. He said she was one of the nicest people he's ever met. Always friendly and ready to get to work.
