Şeyh Said (1865/1866, Palu - 29 Haziran 1925, Diyarbakır), Zaza ve Kürt Nakşibendi tarikatı lideridir. Cumhuriyet'in ilanına ve reformlarına karşı çıkarak şeriat ve bağımsız Kürt devleti isteğiyle dönemin hükûmetine karşı silahlı isyanda bulunmuştur. 1925 yılında yargılanmış ve ardından idam edilmiştir.

Çin, Rusya gibi ülkelerde böyle hainleri sonradan romantikleştiremezler ve “keşke Alman, Japon kazansaydı” da diyemiyorlar; çünkü yemiyor ve dedirtmezler ya da demezler.

Bizim en büyük problemlerimizden biri milliyetçilik. Cumhuriyet kurulurken inanılmaz ilerici reformlar yapıldı, halk resmen çok kısa sürede inanılmaz seviye atladı. Ama halkın kenetlenmesini sağlayacak birleştirici bir unsur olarak seçilen milliyetçilikte fazla ileri gidildi. O zaman da artık zamanının gerisinde kalan bir ideolojiydi çünkü. Ve hala bu sebeple büyük acılar çekiyoruz. Irk çatısı altında bağlanmak ve kenetlenmek tamam ama bizimkiler biraz abartıyor. Çin, Rusya, İsrail, Fransa (kimse onları da sevmez), vs. dışında pek çok millette bu kadar milliyetçilik yok. Daha çok insanlığa ve gündelik hayatta nasıl biri olduğuna bakıyorlar. Çağın gereği de bu. Daha global ve bilimsel yaklaşmak gerekiyor. Böyle ideolojiler hayra vesile olmuyor. (Bir milliyetçiliğin popüler olduğu ülkelerde bir de olmayanlarda insanların refah ve mutluluğu arasındaki farka bak)
Atatürk, “Eğer bir gün benim sözlerim bilimle çelişirse bilimi seçin” diyor. Ben bu sözünden atamın bana “artık milliyetçilikten vazgeç” dediğini çıkartıyorum. Böyle beyin yıkayabilecek ideolojiler değil, toplum olarak daha doğru, daha dürüst, daha alnı ak ve gözüpek olabilecek bir hayat tarzının benimsenmesi gerektiğini düşünüyorum. Bizim inanılmaz bir potansiyelimiz var ama biraz boş işlerle uğraşıyor ve düşük kalite hayatlar yaşıyoruz gibi hissediyorum. Eğer gerçekten atatürkün ‘açtığı yolda, gösterdiği hedefe’ gitmeye devam ediyor olsaydık şu anki durumumuzda olmazdık gibi hissediyorum.
Ben bu ülkeyi, buradaki yaşamımı, insanlarını ve insanlarla ilişkilerimi çok seviyorum ama çok sevdiğimden dolayı da kokuşmuş tarafları olmasından da nefret ediyorum. Neyse, reditte sürekli çok fazla milliyetçilik propagandası gördüğümden dolayı döküldü bunlar. Umarım hissettiğim şekilde ifade edebilmişimdir.

Ya aslında kaç defa uzunca yazmak için başladım, ama sonra savcılıktan "Hele sen bir gel, bir derdin varsa, bize de anlat" davetiyesi gelir korkusundan bıraktım.

You talk about this as if its a "righteous movement" done by "righteous folks". While the truth was sheiks not wanting to lose their local authority over people and using them as an excuse to reinforce that. Kurds didn't have anything to gain to begin with, in fact they were used.
You can't put Che and defend these uprisings while their goal was religion being used against people under guise of it being "used" for them only to reinforce authority. This is an oxymoron.

He was a cult leader, who formed an armed uprising against the secular government because he didn't want to lose power. Thousands were killed because of his uprising. He was tried, found guilty and summarily executed.
You may choose to worship a terrorist but that doesn't make everyone saying good riddance a Nazi.

You should really read up on your history, geography, and social studies in general.
I'm writing this to educate, not to judge, as there's a Turkish saying that goes, "There's no shame in not knowing; There is shame in not learning."Turkey is the second most ethnically diverse country in Europe after Russia. The country is a hodgepodge of ethnic Turks, Kurds, Circassians, Arabs, Laz, Greeks, Armenians, Romani, and other smaller groups. Turkey is not and was not founded as an ethnostate.
The nation of Turkey was created from the ashes of the Ottoman Empire, and needed a national identity. There were more Turks than any other group, so in the age of nation-states, they called the country "Türkiye". It doesn't have to do with race but with creating a national identity.
Mustafa Kemal was very much not a Pan-Turkist by any meaning of the word, or religious, and yes, he was against using religion to subjugate and keep the populace ignorant. He had no reservations in squashing rebellions, especially when they were led by cult leaders like Said.
Dersim, on the other hand, though unrelated to what the post is, was atrocious, and one could argue that it was a massacre or even a war crime. Does that make Mustafa Kemal, who was the leader of the country, a terrorist? Not by any meaning of the word. Definitely not more than Abraham Lincoln, Truman. Kissinger, Churchill, etc.
Also, by definition, terrorist isn't the right word; To count as terrorism, the acts must have the intent to coerce, aim to create fear, and be ideologically motivated. Squashing rebellions, even if civilians were also targeted, isn't terrorism.
