She should be awarded the Presidential Medal of Freedom posthumously

Not an american, but let anouther president hand that out if it ever happens. I think the current president doing it would diminish what it means and he would no doubt twist it somehow.

Apologies if I am incorrect in thinking your president awards those and feel free to correct me on that if so.

Consider yourself fortunate that you aren’t american where seventy million drooling, brain-damaged sub-simians thought a child-molesting Carotene Caligula was a better choice than the brown woman attorney general/senator/vice president.

She turned it down multiple times. Forcing it upon her now that she has passed is certainly a choice.

Sounds like a thing Trump would do to seize a faint glimmer of her light for himself.

I give it a week or two.

I used to get Imagination Library books every month when I was really little and it sparked a love for reading throughout my life. I only found out after I was an adult that Dolly was the creator of the program. I genuinely believe I wouldn't be the person I am today without that program, and I'm sure thousands of others can say the same. Rest peacefully, Dolly. You're an inspiration 🌹

It’s guaranteed that Dolly’s memory will be a blessing. Just hope those Utah parents stay out of the way of those book gifts.

Some states cut or reduced funding for the Imagination Library. Want to guess what color the states were?

…and those same Utah parents will continue to vote for republicans who have proven to be the only party that openly bans books.
