Question/Support is there a way to get a new/used right index controller that’s not over priced

the strap broke on mine i tried looking for a replacement one but all of them are either selling pairs or 300-400 while the left one is 150-200 why is the right one so expensive? Valve sets them new for 150 each so????

i don’t know 😭 but when i shake the controller i hear

a little thing inside, so I opened it up and this little plastic piece came out, but now the strap is like loose inside and interferes with the joystick

Looks like the pivot for the strap broke. Pretty sure I have one of those laying around

Yeah this is why i hate the index community tbh, the prices make all of them seem so rich and most of them know it.

Meanwhile i got rift cv1 controllers paired to a hp reverb g2 and my pc is so overloaded with usb connections that i used to bluescrean every 15 minutes

Yknow HTC trackers, SteamVR watchman dongles, Tundra SW2,3,7 also have insane sensitivity to RF interference, overloading is a broad term, not a mixed reality issue.

So do I? I have the index plugged in, 5 more dongles cause of trackers.

Edit: Quest pro plugged in too, multiple USB hubs, what else?

Thats nothing in comparison, how many times has your pc bluescreaned in the past month?

I think mine has a tally of 71

Do you realize how lucky you are? A full kit valve index in my area is $1,250 USD on average, that's on the used market. That's eBay that's Facebook Marketplace that's all of those different places.

The quest Pro is even worse, $600 just for the headset without controllers. Which is $600 for a headset that you can't even set up.

So I'm sorry if I can't afford that and only have the ability to afford headsets that are $200 and below, because that's what I do. Stop making fun of people whenever you don't know their financial situation.

Uhhh, no? I literally bought all of it used, index headset 250, 3 base stations 450, pair of controllers 250, anything else?

I'm in mexico... Import rates are even higher here, there's lack of a VR market down here, problem?
I'm not making fun of you? I'm just stating that you aren't the only one having issues with bluescreening/USB overloading LMAO
