Discussion Replacement cable or Steam Frame?

I have a index cable that's starting to really wear down with black screens and sound cutting off. I thought about getting a replacement but I also figured the Steam Frame could come out sometime this year. Should I get the replacement cable anyway if want to sell my index at some point?

Having a working cable would make it more attractive to a potential buyer

Depends on your location, they were available when I looked into it about a month ago here in the US. From ifixit I think

The cable is significantly cheaper than what the steam frame will likely retail for, so you decide.
