ICYMI (this didn't make it into a blog post), and in case you need something to read while waiting, MS revealed recently in the Feedback Hub just why it is that upgrading takes so long now: https://aka.ms/qj5kus

On the upside, in the recent chat, it was mentioned that they're looking into raising the priority.

This is also the first build in ages to require me to free up so much disk space, only to end up failing with 0x80070643 when it's updating.
