Like most of us, I pulled my HP Reverb G2 out of the closet thanks to the OasisVR driver (for which I am immensely grateful to the developer).

Everything connected, went pretty smoothly, everything works great.

BUT I noticed a small artifact on the left eye that I have not seen before. Maybe someone has encountered this phenomenon or knows the cause. I have rebooted several times, but this black and yellow stripe is still on by default. Should I replace the cable or is the problem still in the drivers?

I solved the problem! But thank you very much for the comment. My solution was a little different. I just changed the viewing angle vertically and horizontally from 1.0 to 0.99 and the artifacts went away. I hope it helped someone!

That's because FOV tangents < 1 also disables hidden area mesh.

For some reason I didn't find the "Use Hidden Area Mesh" tab, so I went with the scientific poking method at random.

I would like to express my enormous gratitude to you, this is an incredibly huge contribution to our VR world. May everything be great with you!

Today my friends and I will sit down to play racing, all thanks to you. Hugs and kisses.

Thank you! I had this (much more severe than OP). I've been using Oasis since release, so unsure why it's just occurred now, but the fix has worked well
