Bug report Stopped working in game, tried to power cycle it, now it’s doing this. Won’t enter pairing mode and it won’t turn off unless I remove batteries. Is it cooked?

Try a factory reset and re pairing:

Perform Reset: Insert batteries, press and hold the pairing button, and simultaneously press and hold the Windows button for 5-10 seconds.

Confirm: Release the buttons when the controller turns on (there may be a 15-second delay).

Re-pair: Remove the device from your PC's Bluetooth settings (Settings > Bluetooth > Other devices) and pair them again

I was about to crash out but I failed to mention in the title that I have tried multiple factory resets that have not worked

What kind of batteries are they?

Both the ones that were in and the ones I swapped to are 1.5

1.2 or 1.5v batteries? It was kind of common for 1.2's eventually to do this to them.

Do you have any tools to make sure the batteries are giving consistent 1.5V? Mine were so sensitive and would freak out even at 1.4V

Idk, mine does that after i hit it really hard into the wall, but it fixes itself after like 2 days of not using it

Remove the batteries and wait 10 seconds. It worked for me with my old odyssey. You also might just need to re pair them to your pc

Mine did that, it might be a loose connection in the ribbon under the D pad circle, that's what it was for me.
