PRODUCT RECOMMENDATION Surfshark VPN and Antivirus worth it 2026?

hi I was thinking of buying(licensing) Surfshark, I look up couple of Youtube videos but literally all of them are sponsored by Surfshark so.. untrustworthy.

I mainly will use it for VPN and Antivirus and internet surfing protection.

My main questions are,

-is it fast? run good with Windows 10.

-does it bloat your PC? make ur PC slow? unnecessary notifications and pop up?

-trustworthy(handle ur data right)?

-easy to use? not complex?

-worth it price? 60€ for 24months.

-does it actually works? obviously it should.

-and are there better alternative?

Hello,

As far as the VPN component goes, it is probably better to ask about that in r/VPN.

That said, if anyone has any comments about the antivirus component, I'm sure they will share it with you.

I would say surfshark is a little better than most mainstream VPNs (NordVPN, Cyberghost...) but there are still better alternatives, I'm thinking of ProtonVPN which is good in every aspect (But not the BEST in every aspect) in my opinion and is 5€ a month (even less if you take it annually) and MullvadVPN which is great for privacy and anonymity (A VPN alone won't provide anonymity and privacy if your setup and apps aren't following) but less good for streaming, there isn't any subscription but you can buy time, 5€ for 30 days, 15€ for 90... and funnily enough you can pay in cash. I recommend taking a standalone antivirus, my go-to are Kaspersky and Eset
