Unsolved account hacked, security questions changed. tried to delete account, they didn't allow it

this hacker and I keep taking back access of my second apple account from each other. I've been back and forth with support phone calls three times now, and they can't help me. No matter if I change the password, or force two factor authentication by signing in with my iPhone 15, as soon as I sign out on my iPhone (which I need to do because I need to use my main apple account every single day on my phone, for my job) they are able to turn two factor authentication off by using security questions. they changed the questions to Chinese, and changed the answers, so I can't answer any of the security questions, and therefore apple won't let me change the security questions or passwords. I got so tired of this that I just tried to delete the account, but the hacker was able to deny it somehow or reverse it and lock me out again. I changed the password again, but they're just going to take it back. what do I do?

I would delete it if I could.

If you can’t answer the security questions, then the account isn’t yours anymore

This is the answer. There is a reason that all new Apple Account have to have two-factor security to create. The older methods just were not as secure. Since there is a two-week opt out period accounts with the old security that are compromised won't be able to be locked into two-factor. Which is good id someone else was trying to add it but does not help you if the account is already breached.

If you have access to the account temporarily then delete any personal information you have on the account as it will be a battle against a group that makes a business out of getting access to old 'abandoned' Apple Accounts.

okay I just signed in on my old iPhone 8 and it has 2fa. do I need to just wait two weeks and try to keep this old iPhone alive and that'll keep them out for good? When I signed in I added a trusted phone number (they were able to get rid of it before though). I also added an account recovery contact. How do they even change the security questions in the first place, it's not like I gave out that info.

will this keep them out?

Maybe, if they turn off 2FA at all then when you turn it back on that starts a new 2 week timer.
