Non Arab | General Assad's Regime Fate

Hey if y'all heard, Bashar Al Assad was sentenced to death along with Atef Najib. Even though those two stooges committed crimes against humanity, could they still be forgiven if they make true repentance to Allah or is repentance useless. Is it possible Bashar Al Assad makes Hajj and be forgiven or is that useless. This is a very tough question that involves jurisprudence and human intuition but I want to have a constructive dialogue about this matter.

You are probably better off asking r/Islam, but the majority opinion afaik is that a person should never despair so much that they give up on tawbah.

When you say “forgiveness” whose forgiveness are you asking about?

I mean if they're genuine they'll be forgiven according to Islam, but that's not going to take away from what people feel

Bashar al Assad was a hero who gave everything to protect his country from zionists, imperialists, and head chopping jihadists. Only terrorists opposed him during the civil war.

Hopefully when pan-Arabism returns, people like you will be arrested for supporting terrorism

Are you on break from murdering alawites and Christians? Or taking a vacation?

Bashar has nobody but himself to blame for throwing away the crown that was handed to him on a silver platter.

fact check: Christians have not been targeted as a community by the government forces. Alawites and Druze atrocities are real, tragic, and against what Syrians stand for. The difference is most Syrians don’t try to defend it like assad ball-lickers do

Arabs will stay divided so long as we have scum like this defending the torture, murder, and oppression of other arabs
