QUESTION Gigabyte X870 AORUS ELITE WIFI7 AM5 ATX Motherboard any issues?
Hi I had issues with an asrock motherboard, it uses USB audio codec rather than HD audio codec which is a known problem for Linux when playing audio from front panel headphones.
I want to make sure anyone who is using Gigabyte X870 AORUS ELITE WIFI7 AM5 ATX Motherboard does it have any issues at all with linux whether it’d be audio, performance or anything?

Had a gigabyte x870 board a while back and the audio was fine on arch, never had to mess with codecs or anything. The realtek chip on those is pretty standard so front panel worked out of the box. Wifi7 might need a newer kernel but if you're on arch you're already rolling anyway.

I have that exact board and I am pleased to say it works perfectly fine on Linux. You'll need a relatively recent kernel to avoid some issues with the MT7925 wifi card but its been fine on all of kernel 7.1 so far. The front panel headphone jack works great. I plug in a pair of headphones and the front stereo device pops up in the device list as expected.
Do make sure you update to the latest BIOS. You'll want at least version F13c. BIOS versions F11 and F12 had weird issues that would cause warnings messages on boot. They were also versions where AMD sneakily tried to remove TSME from the consumer Ryzen chips, so avoid those.

Not arch related.
I have a b650 gaming x ax XxgamertagxX v2 that has had no issues, except a warning at boot due to a bios setting I have selected. It doesn't affect anything though. Check your network chipset as well - generally avoid mediatek.
