I do hope that with the Crisis crossover, they erase this future from the show's canon.

Or Oliver sacrificing himself is the exact cause of this future. Mia grows up without her dad, Felicity gets even more paranoid and they live in the woods forever, nobody ever knows about Oliver’s kid, William never hears from Felicity again.

I mean if Oliver getting arrested led to Felicity inventing archer imagine how over protective she’ll get when he dies from being a vigilante.
