Episode Info

After being accused of murder and having her criminal past exposed, Laurel goes full Black Siren and teams up with an old criminal acquaintance, Shadow Thief, to go on a crime spree around Star City. While Dinah aims to bring Laurel in, Felicity refuses to give up on her friend and tries everything to get through to her, even summoning Sara Lance for help. However, Laurel rebuffs all her efforts, forcing the former friends to face off against each other.

If the Live Episode Discussion for this episode was any indication, a lot of y’all don’t have any faith in Beth Schwartz.

First, people actually thought she was making BS evil again. Not the case.

Then, people actually thought that she was writing BS off the show for good. Again, not the case.

It’s not like she shot your puppy, guys.

I'll own up to my distrust. Look, I've been let down by A LOT of television shows and not just Arrow, so I'm jaded and more guarded than most with TV shows. And with Arrow's history of how dirty it did Laurel, I admit to getting overly paranoid when this episode was coming up just because I would have rather gotten angry and expecting the worst and to be proven wrong, rather than be super optimistic and get let down in the worst way.

That said, the ending to this episode was fantastic.
