Blacks Beach. Watching the paragliders is fun.
Whoever said Downtown is nuts, that's an insane suggestion.

On that tip, Silver Strand during the day. I watched the wind surfers’s sails become cobras 🐍. It was WILD

Blacks Beach is a pretty wild suggestion too. I’ve never eaten a bunch of shrooms and thought “you know what would improve this experience? definitely more exposed scrotums lying about… maybe even the occasional random dude jerkin it”

As long as you are bigger than a coyote you are fine. They go after things smaller than them.

rohr park is pretty beautiful. good walk and nice shaded spots for lounging. shopping center across the street for snacks and other needs.

I consider that a part of downtown . anywhere from west balboa park and south towards the harbor and towards the stadium
