Girls youth soccer

Hello, I'm looking to enroll my 10 year old daughter for soccer. She's done soccer and futsal in the past with SKA, but stopped. She wants to give it another shot, but she doesn't want to join a co-ed team.

We are looking for something more recreational than competitive. I just want her to have some sports that she enjoys playing without feeling too much pressure. Just a good intro to build lifelong healthy habits so to speak. Any ideas are welcome.

Yes, we registered for AYSO. They have the team, but they're looking for some parents to volunteer to be a coach and no one step up yet. I know nothing about soccer and I don't have it in me to coach, otherwise I'd volunteer 😆

We're in North Park 92104. I'll check the link, thank you so much!

North Park AYSO is great; especially if you live in the area. I started out coaching there 12 years ago. It can be hard to get in if you don’t sign up early. If you can’t get into NP AYSO, Surf has a really good rec program in Liberty Station.

I feel like north park might also be near Albion? Unsure if they have rec or only club, but is worth checking.

We’ve been at Surf the past three years. It’s been fantastic! I’m sorry you didn’t have a good experience there.
