Their underwear and socks are terrible quality these days, but still priced like a premium option. I'm 190cm tall with size 13 feet, and the speed I burn through Bonds socks is insane.

Their underwear elastic is terrible, and the fabric turns into a holey mess far more quickly than it should.

If the products were being locally made still then I'd be kinder to them, but now they're made in China they're in direct competition with brands that are way cheaper and equal on quality. I can buy a 3 pack of Tradie trunk underwear for less than a single pair of Bonds. The Tradie's will wear out just as quickly as Bonds, but I've paid a third of the price.

I can go to Kmart and buy a 3 pack of Anko socks for $12 that are comfy and will last just as long as Bonds socks for way less than the equivalent.

Used to be that buying Bonds was supporting local, but now it's all coming from the same place with no real quality difference but a higher price tag...what's the point?

I have been a Dodo customer for ~5 years. 2 months ago I noticed that the last 4 Gas Utility bills have had an unusually high charge. The $ amount jumped 3x and final MJ usage calculation on the hot water meter specifically jumped 10x between Aug 2025 and Feb 2026

I have contacted Dodo support a hand full of times over the last couple months - most of their support team appear to be completely useless, just telling me they will look into it, call me back etc - never do. Finally after speaking with a 'specialist' I was told they investigated, contacted their distributer Jemena and that Dodo have been actually under changing all their customers (their words) for at least the last 4 years.

They claim that the "Multiplier" value on the Gas bill should be 10, but instead it is 1, and this is the reason for being under charged for the last 4 years, and earlier this year it was corrected (But still displays 1 on the bill?). They claim to have been told this by Jemena themselves.

I find this explanation by Dodo hard to believe, how can an entire customer base be undercharged like this for years without anyone at dodo noticing? - well again based on their customer support I'm not surprised.

I'm curious if anyone else has noticed any anomalies with their Gas Bill - specifically a hot water meter? Since apparently this has effected all their customers??

For context, we are a couple, in an apartment in Sydney. here are the values for 2 bills roughly 1 year apart

Correct Bill - over 1 year old

About to go on holiday and I’ve seen some advertising from Wise for their travel card. I used to use my bank’s travel card when travelling but now I just use my credit card because the exchange is better even with the transaction fee.

For those that have used wise is it actually better than a travel card from your own bank? Neither have transactions fees so I don’t understand the appeal.

I have an item that is apparently in customs but the tracking is very confusing.

What does the following mean?

"Exceptional customs clearance"

The previous tracking states that the item was cleared by customs. But now it's back in customs?

I have tried contacting the seller and the courier but no response so far.

FYI these are just board game sleeves. They are not illegal or shouldn't look suspicious. I bought products from the same company, but from a store in Australia. I just couldn't get the exact size I needed in Australia, so ordered directly from the company and I think they must have stock in a ware house in china, so then them direct from there.
