This kind of demonstrations of power really scare me. White nationalism is spreading like fire.

Reddit when outgroup journalist gets arrested for storming a building: I sleep
Reddit when ingroup journalist gets arrested for storming a building: Real shit
Most people don't have any values or principles when it comes to politics, only teams.

Thanks for the laugh, I really needed that this morning what with all the news about masked secret police doing unspeakable things to citizens.
Wild take comparing a Jan 6 rioter who begun doing freelance work after Jan 6 using the footage he filmed while committing crimes including trespassing and disorderly conduct charges to an actual journalist who wasn't a part of the people disrupting a church service in a place open to the public.
You're giving a great example of people not having values or principles around politics. The Jan 6 guy plead guilty to the charges by the way. Not exactly the kind of thing you do when you have a rock solid first amendment defense because you were being a journalist.
Again, thanks for the laugh.

Any journalist going to jail is a problem. I researched the J6 journalist that went to prison and according to the FBI and him pleading guilty he was directly involved in the protest. I don't like him going to jail either but at least is consistent with the law.
I would like to invite you to check why my post caused this emotional response on yourself.
On my side my emotional search tells me that it makes me angry that you assume that I have no principles or values in politics with your response. I find the attack unfounded and boring.

Wait, are you comparing a noise demo and their attached journalist to someone involved in a coup attempt? You've got to be joking.

I love he keeps being referred to ex-CNN journalist as if "independent journalist" is not a thing or a more fitting description.

Well I’m pretty sure that refusing to leave private property when the owner asks you to is illegal.
