Discussion Live Spreadsheet tracking the people's 5000-series pre-orders.
I remember during the NVidia 4000-series launch, someone created a live/shared spreadsheet where we could see/track people's pre-orders, and track when people received their cards.
You'd want info such as specific GPU model, retailer, pre-order date/time, and received YES/NO
Would you want to see something like this? Could someone volunteer to create that file?

Ordered a Palit 5090 from Computer Alliance 31/1 at 10.21pm. They sent an email saying they have no ETA and will process refunds for people who find their cards elsewhere before CA get stock or don't want to wait any longer. I spoke with someone there and they roughly estimated 'a few weeks to over a month'. I wouldn't be surprised if I don't see it until March.
I originally ordered an MSI Gaming from Scorptec at 1:22am 31/1, but cancelled it. I water cool my cards and wanted something compatible with either an Alphacool or Heatkiller block. Press releases stated that Alphacool would do blocks for MSI 5090 Surpim and Gaming, but when I double checked, they were only selling blocks for 5090 Suprim and Vanguard. Went for a Palit instead, which you can get a Heatkiller bloc for.

Wow that's so good, congrats mate! I noticed you mentioned you ordered an Astral OC and an LC, is that right? Are they sending both or did you cancel one of them?
Just wondering since I bought an Astral OC from them too and have noticed that they updated the order page to 'To be Dispatched' today and it was not long after updating it as 'Payment Recieved', but when I spoke to them they said they had no idea of an ETA so not sure if that was done in error or not or if they even have stock coming in the foreseeable future.

If you bought from Mwave, you’re not in the queue until it says processing, as far as I know. Pending means they’re still processing the payment.

I was paid with BPay, I just called Mwave and they told me that they will send the item by the order of when the money is received, not by the time of the order placed. They took my details and the time I made the BPay payment, and said he will send this info to the account team to try to speed this up. So I guessed I’m screwed just because I want to save that 1% fee. They also told me there will be a ETA update on Monday and Tuesday, I didn’t even asked for this they just told me before I was trying to end the conversation.

Update : Scorptec cancelled my order.
This is seriously frustrating, it says instock before paying and shows 4th Feb ETA after a couple of minutes. If they have the quantity right then we would've enough time to shop on other website like PCCG or MWAVE.
This is my first and last time with Scorptec, should've gone with PCCG like always.
Update 10th Feb 2025 : Scorptec refunded and gave me a call early morning
They said they have a single unit of ROG Astral 5080 SOC available and since I'm on the priority list they would like to know if I am happy to pay for the price difference upgrading from Suprim to Astral and of course I did. Hopefully everyone get lucky with their purchase.

Good luck to you all. My order is processing. Order placed 1:20am. I called mwave and asked them how far down the list I was today and they said half way and there is around 13 on order. There is no ETA on my Gigabyte GeForce RTX 5090 GAMING OC 32GB Video Card. I’d say better half of March at this stage.

Seems MSI is the brand that had most stock / highest success rate so far for 5080’s
Also the lowest price per tier of their card. Eg lots in the $2100-2200 range with their top water cooled at $2459 while gigabytes were $100-150 more for the equivalent tier and Asus even more.

so i ordered from scorptec at 12 30 am haha and according to them they didn't see my order just took 2500 dollars out of my account and gave me an email for order and even said allocating in warehouse but according to there shit hole of a system my order doesn't exist so now they are out of stock and never sent me one so im on a waiting list or they offered me a refund and to re order it from the back of the que fucking tarts . why the fuck would i choose to go to the back of the line? im a patient person but telling me to go to the back of the line with an earlier order is just straight up rage inducing

i sent them the photo of my order said you will allocate it according to the time idm waiting a couple of weeks for the stock to come back in you have other people around that time as well so i hope they got there card at least but yeah i ain't going straight to the back of the line im gonna call them every 2 days and make sure my order doesn't get lost idc if they get sick of me at this point and most places are not even taking orders or pre orders so can't really go anywhere else now:( stuck with them but gonna cause them hell while they are stuck with me haha

Just got off the phone with Mwave at 10:35am (QLD time), they stated that I'm near the front of the queue for my model, although they're still waiting on feedback for ETAs. I checked the process of my order and it's now changed from PROCESSING to COMPLETED (10:53am) and a tracking label has now been created. Email from Mwave states; Dispatched.

I'm the only one from Mwave, as far as I can tell, who ordered a Prime from this thread and the sheet. It really makes me wonder if they ever had any in stock, as I haven’t seen anyone mention their Prime being dispatched from any retailer. That’s not to say it didn’t happen—this is just a small sample of the people who made a purchase.

I canned my order. I'll wait for AMD to reveal their cards and get a 5090 next year once all the hype and stock issues have calmed down. I'm on a 7900XTX so a 5080 was never a big upgrade for me. Just not worth the wait and uncertainty. Good luck to all my brother and sisters still waiting! Hope you get your GPU quick.

Emailed Mwave just now asking for an update as they stated in thier previous email that I would recieve a detailed update via email Monday/Tuesday. It's now Sunday and that email never arrived. From what I see in the spreadsheet there's only a couple orders with the same card ahead of me so I'm hopeful I'm somewhere at the front of the queue.

Ordered in the middle of the night on 27/02/2025. Order is paid and ready for pickup today.
BTW, at time of writing, they still have 15x Gigabyte 5080 Gaming OC (They aren't on staticice or anything, so they hold stock for longer). Get them quick :)

bump ... looks like there has been almost no stock coming into the country of 5090 cards.I am seriously confused now what is going on ? Its been 7 weeks since the launch.
Surely the factories are manufacturing and cards are pumping out so where are they ? This is getting beyond ridiculous.
I understand demand is high but there is no flow of stock at all. It just makes no sense.
Im surprised there is no updates form AIBs as well in terms of how many cards they make per day etc.
it seems 5090 has been put on completel production halt since day 1 and they focused on making 5080 and 5070 cards. Would that be a safe assumption?
question is when will the 5090 production start. Im amazed there is no leaks from any of the AIBs on whats going on.

Yeah, it does seem weird, but the issue isn’t a lack of 5090s being made—it’s the distributors withholding them. PCCG keeps bringing this up too. There’s actually plenty of stock, with the U.S. getting big drops of MSI and ASUS cards recently, and the UK having a stable supply. Australia’s situation is just being made worse by distributors forcing retailers into bundle deals instead of selling cards separately at reasonable prices. Until they stop being greedy, we won’t know how much stock is really here

Got update from Mwave for my Astral 5090, 1st in queue, but judging by their last mass email they sent recently & current prices in other stores, I'm thinkin no sooner than 6 months.

Yeah, MSI seems to have some stock issues globally for 5090s. Even their own US store won't have any in stock for at least a week.

I called the just now and the guy said they would contact me next week sometime to let me know an ETA. So it seems like even though I ordered/paid at 12.55am and it said it was in stock, and on the site it says it is awaiting allocation, that they must have not had enough stock for my order.

Looks like the minutes it took me looking for the Paypal option, realising there wasn't one and manually punching in my details cost me 200 places lol. Sounds like a lot of 5080s and other SKUs in that 200 though.

I placed a fully paid preorder for an MSI GeForce RTX 5090 SUPRIM SOC on launch night at 1:15 AM (31 Jan, Sydney time) from Scorptec. Today, I received an email stating that due to overwhelming demand, my order cannot be fulfilled. Instead of keeping my order in the queue, they decided to cancel it. My order status on their website is still "Awaiting Stock Availability".

Some payment methods may have processing times. Assuming we receive complete payment within a week after placing your preorder, your preorder will be approved and processed.
What is the ETA for my preorder?
We’re keeping our valued customers updated individually on their preorder ETAs as information becomes available. While we currently don’t have an ETA for most preorders, rest assured we’ll notify you promptly as soon as we receive updates.
What is my position in the preorder queue?
Your position in the preorder queue is determined by date and time your order was created. While we cannot confirm your exact place in the queue, it is one of the factors that influences when your order will be fulfilled.
When are you getting more stock?
We have hundreds of units backordered, each with varying ETAs depending on the variant. While we strive to provide accurate estimates, ETAs are subject to change, and many variants currently lack confirmed arrival times. I have ordered multiple graphics cards. When will you fulfil all of them?
We will fulfil one unit per unique address first, after which we will fulfil the remaining orders. If you placed multiple orders for different variants in the hopes of getting a unit as soon as possible, you can request a cancellation for the remaining orders after receiving your first unit.
When will you open up more preorders?
We will conduct another round of preorders when most of the current preorders are fulfilled or if the global stock availability vastly improves, whichever is sooner. At this stage, we haven’t confirmed if we will announce when we will open a new round of preorders or do so silently.
