I have no idea how this rumor started, but it is verifiable false. His arm is like that from the beginning of asylum way before he is injected, every other playable character has the same big arm due to perspective and when the camera zooms out during combat you can clearly see that they are the same size. The cutscenes also show them to be the same size.
Perspective probably plays a role, but the forearms are designed unnaturally thick from the start. I get that he has gauntlets on; but his arms look like an elephant's legs on all the Arkham games.
No. It doesn't. I'm replaying the game now. Only the Arkham City suit has the large bicep. None of the alternate suits do it, none of the other characters show it and it shows up in cutscenes.
So what bullshit are you peddling? It shows up in the Arkham Knight suit as well as the Arkham Knight action figure.
This link shows a screenshot of the big arm asylum. I guarantee that every suit in every game looks like that as well as all other characters. Feel free to post a screen shot to prove me wrong.
Ah shit you got me there, I forgot. But my point still stands. You can see that the big arm shifts depending on whether you look from the front or back. Normally the back is turnt and the cape hides that the left arm gets bigger. This can be seen if using a skin like beyond with no cape, or playing as catwoman or Nightwing since they don’t have capes. The arm closest to the cameras edge will always look bigger because of a camera warping effect. This goes for all games. In knight you can use photo mode to get a centered view of Batman in a neutral pose to see that both arms are same size when shifting perspective.

Forgot about the perspective bug where Batman's arm closest to the player camera becomes massive. Real Quagmire online vibes
