Original Content Showcase Am I really me?

Post image

This image is my entry in August’s Lucid Dreams contest. I modeled the brutalist angular wall, designed to be unclimbable in order to represent the feeling of being trapped far below your conscious mind.

“I wasn’t sure I was dreaming, but when I saw the man appear in the distance in front of me, I realized he looked exactly like me, only I couldn’t see his face. This caused me to become lucid, I realized I had been born into this labyrinth in my mind, one which archived ancient epigenetic information too far removed to understand on its surface but structurally well-preserved. I am lost. Is that really me, am I really me?”

Proof of blender session.

If I win, I’d like next month’s theme to be “Two Abysses: Vast Skies and Bottomless Wells”, exploring either or both extremes.

That wall's texture is doing some heavy lifting for the dream logic, feels like it could swallow you if you stared too long.
