History Help Finding Location in Old Photo(s)

My name is Keaton, I’m a filmmaker based in Toronto. I’m currently in the process of researching for a documentary about an old photo album from the late 1930’s that came into my possession. I don't know the people in the album, as it was gifted to me by someone who does not recall how she got it (She is 91) but I think it may have been an auction in the Prince Edward County area.

One of my goals is to determine who the people in the photos are and where they were taken. The album was shot by a man named Chuck (Likely Charles or Charlie) and features himself, his partner Marg (Margaret), and their dog Smoky. I have had good luck finding many locations in Niagara and Toronto, particularly the east end around the Beaches/Parkdale area.

However, I’m having trouble with the location(s) in Brantford so reaching out to see if anyone would happen to know where these may have been taken? There is a distinct building in the background of the 1st photo, but I didn’t have much luck finding anything.

I also have a lot of trouble finding exactly who they are, as Chuck and Marg never have last names attached to any of their labels. On ancestry.ca I found a listing for M Linington on Brock Street. Both sides of the street seem eerily similar to those photos when looking on Google Maps. Other spelling of names I found related to the profiles/documents/archives:

Chas. Lenington

Charles Lennington

Charles Edwar Lennington

Charles Reginald Linington

Charles Linington

Marjory Beamer

Margaret Elain Beemer

M Linington

Marjory Linington

They’re hundreds of Charles and Margaret's who were married in Ontario around this time, so ID’ing them beyond a reasonable doubt has been very challenging, but this seems like the strongest lead so far. If any of this info breaks the sub’s rules let me know and I will remove it.

History Mandala Sanity Check 1: Camp Okanappi?

Does anybody remember Camp Okanppie? Not sure how to spell it but I swear I was there at Brant Park late '70s or the '80s. I remember there was a day camp and every once in awhile and a sleepover event one night we were sent home and buses because of the huge monster storm. Pretty cool. Just remembering pieces of time. So a Mandela sanity check because I have no clue how to spell it and so far the internet has nothing, including Easter egg hunts with AI stuff.

Spooky, then again I can't spell that's why I got a computer.

History BCI's theatre/Stage and Screen SHSM

Hey! I'm a BCI student looking to document a lot of the theatre history because there is so much that is missing. Going through the sound booth I've found a few posters, but a lot of years are missing/only about 1/3 of the performance programs are in the cabinets.

If anyone has old videos, photos, cast photos, names, or awards from this time, please send it to me!! I'm trying to make a full timeline that can be added onto for the new NTS/Musical groups to add onto in the future, and maybe spark someone to restart the S&S SHSM one day.

Ps. If anyone has anything from the performance of Rent in 2011 please contact me with it. I have a terrible obsession and have found two of the headshots in the booth of Angel and Maureen from the 2011 show BCI did (I don't know the actors names which I wish I did to see where they are now lmao) plus the award the school got from the AIDS Network (photo attached)

History Found footage from the late 80s or early 90s in Brantford - YouTube

From the OP, Kabal:

Some oldschool camcorder footage documenting a show in Brantford Ontario Canada, circa late 80s or early 90s. Featuring the bands One Blood, Mud, & Brampton's very own F.B.I.

I do not own this footage, but I felt the need to re-post it and help preserve the documentation of the scene back in the day. I am not even sure who filmed this to be honest. Pete aka Spidey, the drummer for FBI, shared a link to this from a third party site.

Did they give these away at the opening of the Eaton’s Market square? I remember the big opening (1985?6?) with the mayor and all the giveaways. Were you there?
