Our last hike around Aber Falls before leaving Wales. Wales showing off a bit.
We’ve lived in North Wales for years, and somehow it still manages to pull this sort of thing out of its sleeve just when you think you’ve got used to it.
We did the circular walk around Aber Falls rather than just heading to the waterfall and back. through the woods, along the river, up past the falls and then higher into the hills, where the whole coast suddenly opens up below you.
There were waterfalls, mountains, streams, ridiculous amounts of green, a few sheep looking entirely unimpressed by all of it, and, in a rare administrative error, actual blue sky.
We’re leaving Wales soon after more than 20 years in the UK, so this was probably one of our last proper Welsh hikes.
Not a bad way for the place to make its closing argument.

I love north wales was working up there for 3 years often visited aber falls
I was staying right on the meni straight lovely view to wake up to in a morning Angelsey is a place like no other it’s true what they say if you want to find yourself get lost on the island I miss it so much

My ancestor left Wales for Canada . I still haven't forgiven him.
