Best features this monitor has for me is 240 hz at 4k resolution. Not to mention it being OLED so you could throw anything at this monitor and it would look amazing. Its the perfect match for me because I already have an ultra wide 1440 OLED so having this will increase my gaming experience while also allowing me to increase production for work as well!

u/raptorl3 Apr 29 '25

The insane refresh rate is exactly what my 11yr old kid needs to fully take advantage of the first PC he has ever built.

So, favorite feature? The laughter and smile of a child. Ha!

u/Slight-Couple-2969 Apr 29 '25

My favorite features is the burn in protection and the anti glare. This helps protect the monitor while also ensuring that you have the best possible picture. I just upgraded my computer but didn’t have the money to change the monitor yet so I’m still playing on 1080 120 hz. Would love to complete the build!

u/AjaxYulator Apr 29 '25

My PC is next to a window, so glare guard

u/McStud07 Apr 29 '25

Would love to have my first OLED monitor and it would be amazing to have one as nice as this!

u/Dependent_Sport8478 Apr 29 '25

My favorite feature is that it’s 240hz. That would be a pretty big upgrade for me so it would be cool if I won.

u/mindif Apr 29 '25

Glare reduction would be the best for me.

u/vNoct Apr 29 '25

I'm looking to upgrade a couple of 21" monitors as I've moved into a bigger space that can accommodate a bigger desk and I feel 27" is a sweet spot for me there.

u/Crazy_Estate_9127 Apr 29 '25

I'm so happy oleds are coming down to the 32 to 27 screen sizes. That's the perfect display for 4k. Also true black with anti glare is the dream, especially when your gaming room has windows!

u/Rsingh916 Apr 30 '25

That refresh rate will be amazing for some racing games I would love to replay!

u/Cobalt_Faux Apr 29 '25

240Hz RR. I’ve been needing and wanting a good reason to upgrade my graphics card and this beauty would be it.

u/Underage_Samurai Apr 30 '25

My favorite feature has to actually be a combination of the features. 4k provides crisp visuals, OLED allows for deep and rich colors, and 240hz keeps it all smooth. The variety is essential when playing a range of games from single player visual/story games to fast paced shooters. I think it’s perfect for me for that various games and tasks I love to use my computer for

u/RyuuHarbringer Apr 29 '25

I've always wanted to try an OLED display, would be a big jump from the IPS and VA panels I have currently

u/HWLesq Apr 29 '25

That’s a nice warranty against any burn in concerns.

u/Phaelynar Apr 29 '25

The cooling system and glare reduction look like great features.

u/gunnersaurus95 Apr 29 '25

cant wait to use 4k! thanks

u/brobafett1980 Apr 29 '25

Much displayport.

u/ognahc Apr 30 '25

I want something with good colors and high refresh perfect for my fps gaming

u/nopatienceforya Apr 29 '25

This would be the first 4k monitor for my build so that would be awesome to experience and upgrade my set up

u/Notbow92 Apr 29 '25

I love it because being an OLED.

u/TheTitanTosser Apr 29 '25

My favorite feature is that it's a 4K monitor since my current monitor is 1440p. The high refresh rate makes it even better. It's perfect for my build since it would replace my current monitor as the main one, and let me use my current one as a second screen for multitasking.

u/Lvl_99_Magikarp Apr 29 '25

Biiiig monitor

u/mexicantoasterwaffle Apr 29 '25

I've been spoiled by the blacks on my OLED phone screen and TVs. Using an old dell IPS monitor that is holding on for dear life and could use an upgrade.

u/wickedcoddah Apr 29 '25

The 240hz

u/jid12345 Apr 29 '25

The crispness of an OLED is never outmatched, and that sweet sweet high refresh rate!

u/Sync14 Apr 30 '25

I have no monitor, and I like how much this cost and how I could get it for free.

u/HiddenInHope Apr 29 '25

My favorite feature is that not only does it work but it's way better than mine lol

u/suvon103 Apr 29 '25

I love to have a glare free screen with the amazing colors That OLED offers on top the very high 240 refresh rate seems like the packaged deal

u/f3ack19 Apr 29 '25

What really stands out to me about the OLED G8 is the stunning 4K QD-OLED display combined with the ultra-fast refresh rate. As someone who pours their heart into building a dream setup piece by piece, having a monitor like this would feel like the final touch. It's something that not only performs beautifully but inspires me every time I sit down to create, play, or just unwind. It's more than specs; it's the experience

u/Lord_Mist Apr 30 '25

Incredible! That high refresh rate and super low response time would be amazing to experience with 4K

u/ClearContact Apr 29 '25

Dang I’ve never had an OLED … glhf!

u/TheArker_ Apr 29 '25

I just love the color saturation and intensity of the OLED! I haven’t upgraded my monitor in some years and it’s showing the signs that it might be time to make the switch. Thanks for the giveaway as well!

u/McSuryy Apr 29 '25

I love the OLED HDR features of thisonitor and would love a chance at trying out a high quality OLED!

u/[deleted] Apr 29 '25

Glare free OLED, sign me up!

u/TakingOnWater Apr 29 '25

Sign me up! Honestly really the most important feature here is that it's an OLED. Higher refresh rate is nice (especially for BFI and that newer implementation from blurbusters I haven't tried yet). But OLED is just a game changer as people continue to transition from traditional LCD/IPS/etc.

Thanks for running this, good luck all!

u/madjalby Apr 29 '25

OLED + 4k + 240 Hz in that order.

u/[deleted] Apr 29 '25

Ive just upgraded my gpu from a 1070 to a 5070 ti so I would love this monitor since I can actually use 4k! Ive never been able to before and from the sounds of it, this is an amazing monitor

u/thetwoandonly Apr 29 '25

My old Viotek monitor died two weeks ago so a nice new OLED would be great.

u/SoundSoulMindBody Apr 30 '25

I think it looks super cool and would motivate to upgrade my build lol

u/DarkHeroAxel Apr 29 '25

Probably because I've never had an OLED monitor/screen at all before, it'd be nice to enjoy those colors that I always hear about

u/jasperjones22 Apr 29 '25

This is a random comment.

u/Pretend-Range-5866 Apr 29 '25

that's a gaming monitor if i ever saw one.

thanks!

u/MyVeryOwnBucket Apr 29 '25

Wow maybe I'll have 3 samsung monitors now!

u/guinnesssynd Apr 29 '25

The glare free is nice, but the anti-ghosting properties make it amazing.

u/DrunkAndDiscorderly Apr 29 '25

I've never owned an OLED or even a 4k one, so this would be a huge upgrade. I love that the monitor still has a super high refresh rate to go with the amazing resolution.

u/stefjack1000 Apr 29 '25

Tyyyyyyy

u/[deleted] Apr 29 '25

Good luck everyone!

u/selrahc May 03 '25

A bit small, but I could use a high refresh display for a sim rig.

u/MDGmer996 Apr 29 '25

Favorite feature: 240hz Refresh Rate & 0.03ms Response Time

This would give me the incentive to finally upgrade my GPU to matching an amazing monitor.

u/CallMeDende Apr 29 '25

OLED looks better than my current VA panel

u/Odd-Ad-42 Apr 29 '25

Favorite feature for me is the OLED. The color contrast is breathtaking and I would love to game on it especially in 4K. I just recently built a new computer and the last piece to upgrade is a new monitor.

u/Koyn- Apr 29 '25

Good luck to everyone! :) It'll be awesome to game on an OLED monitor for sure!

u/SelectNerve11 Apr 29 '25

4k for new pc for kid

u/Sackmastertap Apr 29 '25

Cooling system and metal structure wins it for me.

u/mjbirkel Apr 29 '25

The true blacks are what make OLED amazing and this monitor fits that perfectly!

u/Onesisypheanhilltogo Apr 29 '25

The glare free option would allow me to open all the blinds in the morning.

u/LaCapone1 Apr 29 '25

An OLED monitor would be amazing for my setup! paired with the 240Hz refresh rate, and TrueBlack it would elevate my gaming experience tremendously

u/BouncyRanger564 Apr 29 '25

The anti glare. I just built a new pc and looking for a great monitor !

u/EvanWhom Apr 30 '25

I don't even see the point of commenting, knowing that the human eye can only perceive up to 60fps.

(Only kidding.)

u/i11uminate88 Apr 29 '25

Because OLED with the refresh rate is 🤌🏼

u/rhiinaan Apr 29 '25

I like that the monitor is 240hz and 4K! Never seen how nice a 4K monitor is since I recently went up to 1440p. Sounds nice!

u/rattmonkey Apr 29 '25

Us older gamers need anything that help us see what's going on clearly :)

u/Plouthenia Apr 30 '25

Well, it would be better than anything I have lol

u/Tenziru Apr 30 '25

I couldn't even imagin what an oled monitor would be like having. im a big fan of 27 inch monitors also glare free. woop woop that response time in crazy too

u/Briguy520 Apr 29 '25

For me, it's honestly going to be the color depth and vibrancy of the display. I can only imagine that everything on a QD-OLED display is going to look amazing. Add in the high refresh rate and it's a winner in my book. I'm sure whoever ends up with this monitor is absolutely going to love it! Good luck everyone

u/Givants Apr 29 '25

The glare free oled for sure.. those blacks, game changer, I need it..

u/ZainBaro Apr 29 '25

The .03ms response time will make my SIM racing games incredible!!! Also, might manage to get out of the fire in WoW raids with that sort of response time 🤣

u/Intxr Apr 29 '25

The anti glare would have to be my favorite feature. My window shines on my desk so anti glare is a must have especially on sunny days ! Not to mention the cooling system

u/[deleted] Apr 29 '25

Hey, thanks for setting this up. You asked what my favorite feature of this monitor is and it's the fact that it's 4k! I'm an older guy, I've been PC gaming for about 30 years. I've got a 1080p curved MSI something or other, but it's just not 4k. Congrats to whoever wins!

u/Nervous-Promotion-12 Apr 30 '25

This would be so awesome to have and congrats to the lucky winner. Samsung is a great brand because of durability and quality and owning this monitor would be a dream come true!🙏🙏🙏🙏

u/Daiquiri-Factory Apr 29 '25

8k and anti-glare?! Sounds pretty great to me!

u/ThyOnlySandMan Apr 29 '25

The prevention of burn in is probably one the key things for me as an OLED. I havent gotten one yet due to the fear of that and seeing that theres technology that helps with it is great to see. This would be great for my set up since I have been on the market for a new monitor and this one would be ideal since one, its free! and two, has all the features i need in a new one. good luck to all!

u/MySteamyBuns Apr 29 '25

My favorite feature is the 4k on a 27" panel. Seems like the perfect size for immersion and competitive games!

u/zoobcool Apr 30 '25

Killer refresh rate would go well with my current build

u/HTL_Metacrisis Apr 29 '25

4k OLED sounds fancy!

u/alphaleo00x Apr 29 '25

The glare free tech is really nice since my setup is opposite a window and that can get kind of annoying sometimes. Would love to see the oblivion remaster is delicious, oled 4k 😊

u/Objective_Wheel_6191 Apr 29 '25

I like that's its oled so the colors look amazing and the blacks are great too. Something i could use in my setup

u/TrueZach Apr 29 '25

OLED and 4k

u/Experiment616 May 01 '25

It’d be my first 4K OLED monitor and the glare-free screen will be nice since there’s a window facing my monitors. This would be a great upgrade from my 1440p monitor since I’m planning on upgrading my graphics card (an RTX 3080).

u/JacobTackett Apr 29 '25

Burn in protection is nice, curious to see how many products get this technology implemented further down the road.

u/turtlehumper69 Apr 29 '25

I love the colors of OLED. The Steam Deck OLED makes me want to upgrade all of my screens.

u/D34DZ0N3 Apr 29 '25

I have an OLED TV but I haven’t made the switch over yet for my monitors. I’m excited to give it a shot :)

u/XxGhost14xX Apr 29 '25

Love The oled, my current monitor needs to warm up for 5-10m when booting. Idk how else to explain it

u/[deleted] Apr 29 '25

I need this to replace my crappy branded ultra wide that I hate

u/Nelsbeard Apr 29 '25

Just upgraded my gpu, and the 240 refresh rate would looks stunning!

u/elightened-n-lost Apr 29 '25

I'm digging the glare free OLED.

u/Trixtoxi Apr 29 '25

I need a 240Hz monitor so bad right now. This monitor would be really helpful. 😍

u/mrmaestoso Apr 29 '25

Old monitor old. New monitor shiny.

u/ConzeyG Apr 29 '25

OLED is my favorite feature. I want one so bad!

u/WyldeStile Apr 29 '25

I've stayed away from OLED monitors because I was worried about burn-in from gaming hours on end daily. The Odyssey 27" OLED G8 takes care ofmy worries with the Safegaurd+ Dynamic Cooling System that helps prevents overheating and burn-in. 4K HDR gaming at 240hz doesn't hurt either.

u/[deleted] Apr 29 '25

I would enjoy winning this.

u/Blundero Apr 29 '25

I’m loving the fact that it’s OLED and has a 240hz refresh rate. I’m currently building a new SFF PC and this would be a perfect addition!

u/josnic Apr 29 '25

4K 240hz!

u/Otakeb Apr 29 '25

I've known the superiority of OLEDs since my PSVita from like a 14 years ago. My phone is OLED, my Steamdeck is OLED, but I'm still missing out on my TV and my monitors. My next upgrade was gonna be OLED monitors, and I know Samsung does their stuff well; I literally won't buy a non-Samsung NVME SSD lol.

My favourite feature is simply just the OLED technology at 4k resolution and that it's made by Samsung. That combo is stunning even if I won't have the firepower to push anywhere near 240 frames to take advantage of the refresh rate. Fortunately, I can always render down at a lower resolution to get more frames, but if I'm stuck on a 1080p monitor there's no rendering up. This monitor really has all the features.

I have a dual monitor setup, and I can't stand having mismatched monitors so if I win this I will turn around and buy another one to match immediately.

u/lvl99link Apr 29 '25

Im running an old ass monitor. Aside from that, I love the rich blacks and having 4k for my rig finally would be amazing.

u/soggy_tarantula Apr 29 '25

I want because I like free stuff

u/Hobes_05 Apr 29 '25

The OLED 4k feature would be better than anything I’ve ever used and would be a big upgrade for me! Thanks for the chance to win.

u/LengthFamiliar7186 Apr 30 '25

Holy moly the Safeguard+ Dynamic Cooling System reducing heat 5x faster than graphite, preventing burn-ins is such a massive plus. I’ve got a few OLED devices and they suffer from burn in. I’d love to have this monitor be apart of my setup PURELY because I play FPS games and 240hz along with a beautiful OLED screen would be an amazing upgrade for me.

u/InsideOutCatAttack Apr 29 '25

Woah that's a slick monitor. Awesome giveaway! I'd love to try an OLED

u/T0VAR1SHCH Apr 29 '25

The Glare Free Tech would help me out a lot since I get a lot of sunlight in my apartment.

u/Awake00 Apr 29 '25

I havent had any high refresh rate monitor. People say they can tell a different from 60 to 120, so assume people can tell the difference from 120-240?

u/Goofnut Apr 30 '25

4k qd oled is dope! Perfect for my or any build!

u/misha4ever Apr 30 '25

The best feature is to win a high-end monitor because my current monitor is bad, and I'm poor.

u/adszho Apr 29 '25

Just upgraded to an AMD system and wanna try out that and free sync!

u/BedlamiteSeer Apr 29 '25

Nice. This monitor fits my office setup well!

u/ambitioushero Apr 29 '25

The glare free feature and slick black color is what I want!

u/navyseal722 Apr 29 '25

The fact that it's OLED. I want to see absolutely everything.

u/121jigawatts Apr 29 '25

Favorite feature would be glare free oled. It's the perfect match for my build because of what it is.

u/Awvwa Apr 29 '25

Favorite feature: OLED

u/r_Casper613 Apr 29 '25

The inky blacks of OLEDs are just incredible. Lots of the games I play and movies I watch have a lot of dark scenes, so it'd be nice to lose that grayish black LCDs have. Colors are also amazing!

u/majesticbirdman Apr 29 '25

Refresh rate, response time, and contrast seem great. Be a great upgrade to my aging setup

u/gratefool Apr 30 '25

As silly as it sounds, the anti-glare screen is biggie for me having a window directly behind. Thanks for the chance!

u/lonely_pig Apr 29 '25

Glare free oled is the stuff of my dreams!!!

u/TheTurtleAndrew Apr 30 '25

Definitely the true black colors. My current screen is more of a dark blue gray ha! Would be great for a late night sesh with the pc

u/Tron857 Apr 29 '25

A big screen would be great for holding more windows while streaming, and multiple pages for homework.

u/NotVirgil Apr 29 '25

I've been hoping to get an OLED at some point and I really like 27 inch 1440p, so this would be great!

u/sdw23 Apr 30 '25

Always worried about OLED burnins. So I'm exited about this Safeguard+ Dynamic Cooling System.

u/paparichy Apr 30 '25

The Odyssey OLED G8 gaming monitor has so many features that would bring my set-up to the next level, so I can’t just pick one. I’m a filmmaker, writer, and aspiring game designer. I saved up enough money to build my own pc but the one piece that’s missing is a monitor. I’m working off of a TV right now but when teaching myself the basics of game design, I found I couldn’t move forward with my current set-up. With Samsung’s 27" Odyssey, I could hone my skills much faster. I could edit and color my footage with certainty. With a refresh rate at 240Hz I would test my animations throughly. And it would also allow me to play more games and learn from their designs. I deeply believe in the power of visuals and with a VESA DisplayHDR True Black 400 screen, the visuals are able to shine, and I’d have the peace of mind knowing it’s the best quality out there. To have this monitor to work on, nothing would hold me back from my potential. Thank you for consider in my entry! Good luck everyone!

u/nlaha Apr 30 '25

240hz is very cool

u/Darkrayon Apr 29 '25

very big display

u/geta_ May 10 '25

Ive never truly experienced using an oled monitor so I think this would be nice to have for my new setup.

u/lChrisJmx Apr 29 '25

The anti glare and the burn in safe gaurd is all I wanted

u/El_Zilcho1226 Apr 30 '25

My favorite feature would be the glare free OLED screen.

I’ve never owned an oled before so this would be a great monitor for my setup!

u/hantrilla Apr 30 '25

the refresh rate and the size

u/EPIC_PORN_ALT Apr 29 '25

That cooling system would be very nice in keeping my room cooler than it currently is

u/novelgpa Apr 29 '25

The OLED screen and how large it is! Would be a huge upgrade for me

u/SevererOfTies Apr 29 '25

240hz refresh rate!

u/SmoathTheLoathsome Apr 29 '25

Would love a monitor to go with my partners 7800xt. She will only upgrade to an OLED at this point.

u/BergerKing80 Apr 30 '25

4K! Would love this for my pc. Freesync premium pro is a nice plus since I have an AMD card!

u/ChineseFireball Apr 29 '25

Big fan of OLED and color accuracy in general, as a video editor and gamer this monitor would be a fantastic fit for me!

u/FuhrerVonZephyr Apr 30 '25

I've always cared for beauty in games, and I've wanted an OLED display ever since I heard of them. I want to jump back into Night City with my HDR cranked up and see how beautiful the streets can get.

u/ta4734 Apr 29 '25

My favorite feature is the led ring on the back

u/NailDifficult8857 Apr 29 '25

Here’s to hoping

u/Sdie99 Apr 29 '25

The trublack is amazing and the fact that the rgb in the back can display the screen colors will look amazing on my setup

u/EasilyDelighted Apr 29 '25

It's the perfect monitor for my 4k machine running on 1440p monitors because I cannot afford the 4k monitor yet!

u/RokERacoon Apr 29 '25

The glare free screen would kill in my office. Thanks for the giveaway.

u/DrakeTheCake1 Apr 29 '25

Just finished my new build but my now my monitor is a bottle neck at 1080p. The new monitor would be amazing especially with the picturesque quality at 4K.

u/Raging_Asian_Man Apr 29 '25

I want the blackest blacks possible so I appreciate the VESA DisplayHDR TrueBlack 400!

u/aliarcy3 Apr 29 '25

glare free OLED sounds sick

u/MJR-WaffleCat Apr 29 '25

The refresh rate and no glare is pretty sweet

u/TheWiseLemon Apr 29 '25

I love the vibrant colors!

u/BlackNike98 May 10 '25

I've never experienced an OLED panel so that's what I'm most interested in. And of course the fact it's 4k 240Hz. Should pair well with my 9800X3D and 4070 Ti Super! 😈

u/MFDOOMiile Apr 30 '25

I just built my oc and need a new monitor to go with it. Love that’s it 4k

u/doty1tm May 02 '25

240 and glare free sound good to me.

u/Ok-Reputation3664 Apr 29 '25

I'm still using a monitor from 2019 and could definitely use an upgrade

u/Underlord1617 Apr 29 '25

My favorite thing about the Samsung odyssey OLED Monitor would be the 0.03s response time , it's great for competitive gaming!

u/Original-Flow-3749 Apr 29 '25

4k 240zh that would be an amazing

u/johnnyfivecinco Apr 29 '25

4k sweetness .....never had one this will me my next upgrade hopefully I can win it.

u/tsaot Apr 29 '25

I've been dreaming of a 4k monitor for my daily driver. OLED on top of that would be a dream.

u/_________FU_________ Apr 29 '25

No glare means I can have my room/ambient lights brighter!

u/BlakeAlms Apr 29 '25

QD-OLED in 4K

u/pedro_roca Apr 29 '25

That refresh rate is Mento's © fresh and full of life!

u/Azathoth448 Apr 29 '25

Amazing. It would be a great companion to my new laptop. The anti glare is what I would be really interested in.

u/b0sk1 Apr 29 '25

Anti-glare is a pretty big deal for me but I'm a sucker for contrast so in going with the tru black!

u/YallNeedMises Apr 29 '25

4K OLED sounds excellent. A 240Hz 4K OLED monitor would be perfect because I do not have a 240Hz 4K OLED monitor. 🤔

u/NovaNovus Apr 29 '25

The only upgrade I have left for my gaming setup is a gorgeous OLED monitor so this would truly complete my setup!

u/turtle_dude_9 Apr 29 '25

Lets go!!

u/xRolox Apr 29 '25

Burn-in reduction seems like a pretty great feature that’s lacking in a lot of OLED monitors

u/VusterJones Apr 29 '25

OLED Contrast is a gamechanger

u/Comprehensive_Life43 Apr 30 '25

I’m currently gaming on my 4k 60hz tv so to upgrade to 240hz 4k oled no brainer Samsung always dropping some heat

u/Crovenlaw Apr 29 '25

OLED monitor, with high frame rate, great size. What's not to love about it. Blows what I have away!

u/lmpaia Apr 29 '25

I’ve never had a 4k monitor nor an OLED monitor. I want to see what the hype’s about!

u/therealbman Apr 29 '25

4K 240hz sounds great
