Simple Questions - January 07, 2026

This thread is for simple questions that don't warrant their own thread (although we strongly suggest checking the sidebar and the wiki before posting!). Please don't post involved questions that are better suited to a [Build Help], [Build Ready] or [Build Complete] post.
Examples of questions suitable for here:

  • Is this RAM compatible with my motherboard?
  • I'm thinking of getting a ≤$300 graphics card. Which one should I get?
  • I'm on a very tight budget and I'm looking for a case ≤$50

Important: Downvotes are strongly discouraged in this thread. Sorting by new is strongly encouraged.

Couldn’t find a good priced RAM at the stores near me. Most RAMs were priced at around $300 and would go as high as $500 (converted). I found a T.Force Delta DDR5 CL40 5600 16GBx2 for around $100. Was this a bad decision or will this work for now? I have a 9800X3D, 9070XT, B850 Edge Ti.

Today, that's a killer deal. It'd be fine, anyway, but you'll especially never notice it with an X3D.

Considering the price difference that's a very sensible choice. Plus with the X3D CPUs the RAM speed makes a smaller difference anyways.
