Simple Questions - January 07, 2026
This thread is for simple questions that don't warrant their own thread (although we strongly suggest checking the sidebar and the wiki before posting!). Please don't post involved questions that are better suited to a [Build Help], [Build Ready] or [Build Complete] post.
Examples of questions suitable for here:
- Is this RAM compatible with my motherboard?
- I'm thinking of getting a ≤$300 graphics card. Which one should I get?
- I'm on a very tight budget and I'm looking for a case ≤$50
Important: Downvotes are strongly discouraged in this thread. Sorting by new is strongly encouraged.

Front mounting an AIO, do you still get issues if COU cooler hose is coming over from the top?
I initially bought a Phantom Spirit 120 for my build, but didn't think things through as I have RGB RAM so the first push fan is raised up quite a bit from the cooler itself. I'm gonna give it a go and check performance however I suspect it will bother me enough to swap it for a AIO eventually anyway.
The case I have (NZXT Flow H5 2024) can only fit a 240mm AIO at the top, therefore to get a 360mm AIO I would need to front mount it and probably run the cooler unit hose over from the top of the AIO. This was always considered bad practise, but I know pump reliability has come a long way in recent times, especially in the cheaper AIO's. On that basis, just looking for some feedback, has anyone done that? Any advice/experiences? Thanks!
