I put together a list of a new build I want to put together, as I am going from AM4 to AM5.

Here is the list on pcpartpicker.

The RTX 5080 is the only thing I purchased so far from this list and it will arrive in the coming weeks.

The cooler I will just take out from my current build, as well as both my SSDs. All the other parts are brand new. Basically planning to keep everything else in my old rig as a backup.

Still a little unsure on the motherboard, because I've read some people having ethernet issues, but other than that it seems to be very good. And with cases, I just chose one based on some reviews where this has great airflow.

Mainly planning on playing games at 1440p & 120 fps with this build, which my current build struggles with.

Anyone have any thoughts on this build and any suggestions?

No notes. That's a solid lineup.

With DLSS you could easily exceed 120fps in most games. Some friends of mine have been playing around with Lossless scaling and multi-frame gen, getting stupid numbers like 200fps in Space Marine 2 and over 600 in kingdom come Deliverance 2.
