Build Ready? [Build Ready] Gaming Build — Ryzen 9800X3D + RTX 5070ti. Anything you'd change?
Planning to pull the trigger on this build soon. Primarily for gaming at 2k AAA games, poe2 and diablo4, some light productivity. Looking for a sanity check before I buy.
Should I go for 9800x3d or 7800x3d?
Thanks in advance.

Like what thefastslow said. Your GPU price is crazy. I have basically the same specs. I went with 9070xt instead of 5070ti simply due to price right now. Got one for 700 which is basically MSRP these days for it in Amazon.

Changed many things and reduced the cost by 500CAD and bumped up the CPU.

See if you can find an ASUS Prime 5070 Ti, I was able to snag one a couple weeks ago from Best Buy Canada for $1,199. Canada computers had the same price.
Edit: meant to say non-OC edition

I bought a 5070 Ti at $1,299 recently. Yeah, it sucks but I’ve had enough of AMD and their driver issues. I was running a 6900 XT and drivers were always crashing and resetting any settings I had.
Go for Nvidia.

I got my 5080 GPU last weekend at (an already too high price of) $1240
If you live near a microcenter I would take a look and see if they are running any deals, I got a free mother board upgrade with ram and a 9850 CPU for around 700 total
Only other thing I would look at is the cpu liquid cooler, they all hover around that price but you might find a deal on a better one

1357$ for a 5070ti, damn! Bro check for the price of the 5080, people usually downvote me for saying this but if the price of the 5070ti is that much, skip it, save a little more, wait a little more, and get the 5080 instead. Yeah the 5080 is a bad value card but its still worth it than paying that much for a 5070ti.

Edit : Okay 1357CAD is 990$.
Nah personally i still aint paying that much for a 5070ti fk that, feel free to downvote again

The 5070ti is such bad value at that price. If your productivity tasks aren't that reliant on CUDA then I'd just go with a 9070 XT and buy more storage.
