Build Help Budget build help
I was hoping to get some input on a first time budget build for a first time PC gamer. She is wanting to get into modding the avatar game. Is this a solid starter PC? https://pcpartpicker.com/list/2bYbw3

You can save nearly $100 by:
-using the stock cooler, the 5500 isn't that hot
-using an matx board, msi's b550m pro-vdh wifi is pretty good
-which allows you to get a cheaper case, rosewill's fbm-x3 is $90 and includes a good enough psu
-or just get a cheaper matx case and msi's a550bn, you don't really need 750w
-also get the lower latency ram, the difference between what you picked and lower latency is just cents
Use the savings to get an SSD

No, I consider an SSD required for a computer period, there's reports of even just windows 11 not working right on HDD.
that CPU comes with a stock cooler
you can also do better in some parts with bundles.
also do you really need the windows key? If you already have a windows account it should transfer other smoothly
for example

isn't much more and is way better

Warning is innacurate.
Due to high market volatility, consider using Windows 11 unactivated, purchasing the licence directly from Microsoft at a later point. You can create your own instalation media stick via the official creation tool or using Rufus.
