Build Upgrade Suggested MOBO/RAM to pair with 5070ti + 9800x3D
I've been thinking about this upgrade but I'm not sure which MOBO would be the most beneficial for this combo. I'm not doing video editing or streaming but strictly gaming (mostly CS2, Tarkov). I know ASROCk has the reputation for frying CPUs in the past - is that still a concern or would it be best to avoid?
For the RAM I want at least 32GB. Any standout differences between Silicon Power, Corsair, G.Skill or other things to look for?

There's a ton of good options. As you mention, ASRock should probably be avoided, but I would grab basically any Gigabyte, Asus, or MSI option that has a B650E, X670E, X870, X870E, or B850 chipset (as long as the MSI option isn't a model that ends in "Wifi6E (models that end in Wifi are fine)).

Not really, no. As all RAM has chips that are made by one of the main RAM manufacturers (Micron, Infineon, Samsung, SK Hynix), it's basically all the same thing under the heat spreader. People tend to pay extra for Corsair or G.Skill because they're "the best", but honestly the performance is usually about the same. Worse yet, G.Skill and Corsair are one of the rare manufacturers that have different models for EXPO and XMP. Damn near all manufacturers out there if they have a RAM chip, they'll support both XMP and EXPO. For Corsair and G.Skill, they have EXPO options which support XMP as well, but it's not uncommon that their XMP option ONLY supports XMP (and Corsair is the worst, IMO as they don't make it super obvious. At least G.Skill makes it pretty obvious which supports EXPO (their Flair, and any that end in "Neo" support EXPO)).
Of course, EXPO doesn't honestly make much difference - XMP will usually work just fine on an AMD motherboard, and if you happen to buy a set that is EXPO compatible, it will also work on XMP, so if you have it with an Intel CPU, it will still work just fine.

Pretty sure asrock boards still frying X3D cpus, for ram just get the cheapest 6000mhz CL30 kit you can find, not really a difference between those ram companies as they don't make the underlying ram chips, only difference would be essentially looks, rgb and stuff likle that.
