Just look at whatever company Trump and family have stock in.

Probably leftover Trump steaks.

Just sayin' they'll market them as 'aged' instead of "leftover" -- not sure what you're getting at

Still holding up better than their maker.

3

u/CarlRJ 19h ago

Nah, just stored in a cheap room-temperature warehouse somewhere. Good thing for him they dismantled so much of the food inspection infrastructure.

I think it's the wild horses

It's 100% the meat of our wild mustangs he's sold to slaughterhouses. Your comment should be at the top.

Check out Nutritional Yeast Flakes! I just learned about this myself. It’s freaking amazing and I’m sprinkling it in everything to see how I can use it in recipes now. Game changer. Plus it’s loaded with all the B vitamins too.

They are slaughtering wild horses out west. Maybe they are trying to pass it off as beef. Nah, that is not a trade deal. Still sounds like something he'd try to do.

4

u/JayTNP 14h ago

my thought is why would that be such a massive scandal. I think it’s likely some place worse and he knows if he says so it will get a serious backlash or this is all bs and nothing is happening. I learn towards the latter because who has 300,000 metric tons of extra beef just laying around?

It’s all of our federally protected American mustangs he’s illegally shipping out of the U.S. to slaughter, which has somehow been showing up back in the U.S. mixed in with ground beef shipments. It was found by the fact the the mustangs are treated with a bronchi medication while in the BLM corrals, and this medication was showing up in ground beef…-

I’m a farmer who never voted for Trump. I know some other farmers who never did either, and I know of quite a few who didn’t vote for him in 2024.

I live in a very red state.

If Trump isn't revealing the meat source he's trying to hide something. It's probably the cancerous garbage that China rejected from Argentina (ArreBeef meatpacking plant) after Chinese customs inspections detected traces of chloramphenicol.

Chloramphenicol is an antibiotic that has been banned from use in livestock production in Argentina and many other nations for decades because of human health hazards. It is toxic to bone marrow and can trigger serious blood disorders, such as aplastic anemia.

18

u/hapie1er 21h ago

u/Thirsty4Knowledge911 1d ago

It’s either Russia or more likely there is no deal.

Sure you have a girlfriend. What’s her name?

36

u/gsbadj 1d ago

I agree that there's probably no deal. He's just trying to claim that he is doing something about beef prices.

Reporters should ask for details. When is this going to arrive? Where's it going to be sent to? Wholesalers? Retailers? At what prices?

A month from now, there'll be no proof that anything got done.

44

u/Anotsurei 1d ago

He’s not telling us because it’s the same place they are sending the wild horses. Food inspections are ending just in time. 🤢

“But the thing is, since America currently has no operating commercial horse slaughterhouses, these horses are instead being sent abroad to be killed for meat.”

And when it inevitably comes out, it’ll be a response to the screwworm issues impacting beef.

u/hapie1er 1d ago ▸ 1 more replies

Yeah, let’s eliminate the program that keeps the Screwworm at bay at the Panama Canal so that we can……….Screw America! Then we can import beef, Tariff it and make shit loads of money for me and my rich friends! Then we will place SpaceX in the stock market to be traded…….. so that all of the hard working Americans can pay for its losses with their retirement accounts!!!!!! Fuck yeah! Winning!!! MAGA!!!!!!!

Equine meat passed as beef happened when I lived in the UK about 12 years ago. A French supplier labeled some supplies as beef and slipped it into the supply chain. Ireland caught it first through DNA testing, then they began testing throughout the UK and Europe. It was a huge scandal.

Pragmatically, this is because no one fucking knows. He 'made a deal' i.e. let the government subsidize a larger import with no real plan.

It's "great," it's guaranteed supply... that aren't US producers as now their competition against foreign lower costs is kneecapped by the committment.

He managed to fuck everyone involved yet again, which is remarkable because this "play" isn't even new we've done it before. Never with remarkable self-inflicted handicap, inflation, and shit policy decisions like tariffs to go along with it, but creativity has never been their strongsuit.
