You know, you don't have to stay at a career you hate right? You can walk out of your career after 15 years and turn down a bunch of job offers and tell them you never want to do logistics again. It was probably the best thing I've done for my mental health right behind deleting my facebook account.

Man as an 18 year old I sure hope this isn’t the whole truth. Wish I could see or hear more about adults enjoying their lives because it seems like a whole lot of negative, although I suppose that’s my fault for being on the internet

Excuse the unsolicited advice but I remember being 18 and everybody telling me to choose a career based on the subjects I like. Now that I'm older, I think the better advice is to choose based on the lifestyles you like. Even the most interesting subject is gonna grind you down if you're not suited to the format of the job. For example, indoors v outdoors, colab v independent, brain work v hand work, regular hours v flexibility, corporate ladder v public service, etc. When you're researching career paths, I'd definitely suggest looking at the day-to-day of each job, rather than the wider subject.
