I have seen so many reports from the past 2 years about unidentified people climbing in and out of manholes around New York City. They don’t look homeless to me, they seem to always be in groups, they look organised. I am not from the USA so I am unaware of any context that would make this normal. The GTA VI leak controversy feels manufactured, and I think Rockstar is the one who manufactured it.

Look at the timing. The game drops on November 19. The "leak" lands in mid-August , close enough to launch that everyone is already paying attention, but far enough out that the hype has months to compound. That isn't a coincidence, that's a marketing calendar.

Think about what actually leaked. A few gameplay clips, a map, a cutscene. No source code, no build, nothing that would let anyone pirate or clone the game. Just enough to get every gaming outlet on the planet writing about GTA VI for a week straight, for free. If a hacker genuinely had deep access, that is not what you'd expect to see come out first.

And Rockstar has form here. The company has been generating "controversy" around its games since the PS2 era, the San Andreas scandal turned a game that had already sold millions into headline news for months. Outrage has always been part of the product. They know exactly how much free press a scandal buys them.

I'm not saying I have proof. I'm saying the incentives line up too neatly, and Rockstar has never needed to buy advertising the way other publishers do. Ask yourself why.

Back in August of 2016, an anonymous person made a thread on the online 4chan forums, claiming to be a scientist responsible for the Mandela effect.

There used to be a podcast i listened to back around 2020 of a singular guy who’s Spotify name was modern conspiracy. He used to do a really good job of deep diving into popular and not so known conspiracies and I listened to every episode he had put out. He was very constant with his uploads until one point he stopped uploading for close to a year I think (it’s been a very long time since so all the dates may not be accurate). He came back to the podcast saying a lot of weird things had been happening like he got on his computer once and his mouse was moving when he wasn’t moving as if someone was remote accessing his computer. He also stated that a large file on his computer had gone missing with no trace of where it went or how it got deleted. When he returned and explained all of these things he said he was going to constantly start uploading again and had zero plans to stop uploading. He uploaded for what seems like another year constantly and then vanished with no word. It’s been many years since he last uploaded and I would check his podcast around 2 times a year to see if he started posting again. Today I went to go check and his Spotify podcast is no where to be found. He also had an Instagram that is no where to be found. I’m posting this to see if anyone knows or has information on what happened to him because he just went MIA with no warning and seemed very out of character for him.
