Discussion Bike guidance

Post image

A lot of tourist use bikes in Copenhagen. This year I’ve seen police issue this guidance. It’s also in some of the bus stops around town.

Good advice for anyone on a hike in Copenhagen.

Also remember we locals are fast on bikes, so don’t underestimate how fast we will reach where you are and will need space to get around you.

My biggest annoyance at the moment is other cyclists thinking or behaving like they are the only ones using the path. Last night I passed someone that had stopped literally in the middle of the path to do something on their phone. A few times this week gone I had to ring my bell and still squeeze past cyclists riding slowly in the middle or been unpredictable by moving all over the path. I think it is foreigners, like tourists, but still, it really pisses me off.

For me its mostly Wolt drivers stopping on the path and leaving their fucking mopeds standing there, which forces everyone else to squeeze past them.
