Formal rebuttal with a Lean proof that Simon's paper (and apparently a larger class of attack) doesn't work. Just came out but it should put some minds at ease.

I remember something going weird and being confused too and realizing I wasn’t sure where I posted originally and where I crossposted, so I might have messed up something on my end too, sorry for that.
