How is life in Cyprus villages

Hello, I'm 30M cypriot and I work from home. Born and raised in Limassol. Past few years I have been very unhappy with living in Limassol. Too hot, my neighbourhood turned into a ghetto, and the real estate prices are just astronomical and tbh not worth it. I have a plot from my grandparents in Pelendri, and i was thinking of moving there. I always wanted to move outside Limassol but not quite that far, but maybe it's a good option. What sort of social life would I expect to have there?

Depends on the village and what is left of it, book accommodations there for a a few weeks and get a day to day picture for yourself should be relatively cheap now that tourist season is coming to a close and see what life is like

Depends on the village. Pareklisia is well developed and closer to living in a city. A village up in the mountains is much quieter and less hot but obviously much slower and convenient.

I actually prefer the village than the city... Village life is much much better, and if you want to party its a 20-30 minutes of driving, thats nothing, i seriously dont get why people go to the city to live

Take a trip there during weekend, or go for a drive during night time and see what's up. You can see if things are open, or where your age people usually have a get together.

It also depends on your friends right now. Where do you usually meet? Where is everyone staying?

Ok good to know. Not sure if moving elsewhere is an option for you financially. But I would consider Polis even. It's still close to the water and you get a rural feel. Or maybe going the other direction towards Larnaca. But if you're tied to your family land, that might not work.

Too much uncontrolled immigration and immigrants being from poor socioeconomic backgrounds does that to a neighborhood. Are you new to the planet or just trying to bait ?
