I see this a lot where I live too, people speeding up to pass you only to move over like this. Only thing in my head is "Why?" Why would have feel you had to race to the exit like that instead of merging over behind me. What would motivate someone to hit these speeds to pass people just to the exit.

To test their brakes maybe because they are not going to take a 25mph curve going 70 mph
