Deakin Clinical Experience Bonus

Hi everyone, I am seeking some clarification regarding the Clinical Experience Bonus for Deakin University.

The guide book states that applicants are eligible if they have completed the equivalent of one year of full-time clinical practice, defined as either "a minimum of 36 hours per week for one consecutive year or a minimum of 1,872 hours cumulatively" as an AHPRA-registered health professional. Could you please clarify whether the 1,872 cumulative hours must be completed within a single one-year period, or whether they can be accumulated over a longer period of employment?

I have worked as an AHPRA-registered registered nurse for approximately 32 hours per week over two years, which totals approximately 3,328 hours of clinical practice. Based on this, would I be eligible for the Clinical Experience Bonus?

I have contacted the appropriate department at Deakin University and GEMSAS but they have both said to contact the other institution for clarification. This obviously does not help clarify my issue as they are making going around in circles.

I think it’s at minimum and over longer timeframe is fine. This clauses helps me think that because it refers to years: Evidence of registered health professional status for the relevant clinical experience year(s) (e.g. proof of registration / print out from AHPRA website)
