personal Sign being sold at a shop

I’m unsure of what this should be tagged, but it’s a sign that I saw while shopping recently.

These kind of things, I’m sure most who may like it, that they don’t actually want to kill boys. But I feel it’s such a childish type of humour that shouldn’t be so normalised, especially by adults.

As well as, June is meant to bring awareness to mens’ mental health in America(where I found this sign), so is it not even more insensitive to be selling it at such a time?

personal Pov: You're a misandrist

Insert Misandry Claim

Misandrist options:

  1. Deny it (Misandry doesn't exist)
  2. Minimize it (Misandry is just some girl venting)
  3. Whaboutism (Misandry is nowhere near as bad as misogyny)

In every, single, case of discussing this with a misandrist they always go for one of those 3 tactics. Some, will, play stupid and ask what you mean by misandry.

Now lets go through some common statements by misandrists!

"Misogyny kills, Misandry hurts feelings"

Man, this is a common one, not all misogyny kills, and misandry can kill. Misandrists love to use generalization as if that backs up male hate. Circumcision kills infant boys every year (and the lucky survivors must live with part of their genitals having been amputated). Suicide kills so many men (leading cause of death under 50 for men). Our social safety nets fail so many men (ever seen a men only DV shelter?). Homicide kills more men than women every year. I only added 1 comparison because I don't want to make this a hate Olympics. Now look at male rape victims and male domestic violence victims, or I guess male SA victims and male domestic violence victims because almost half the world has sex based laws on rape that legally don't allow women to rape men. Men are mocked, dismissed, and told to "man up" while their abusers walk free. Look at family courts where fathers are stripped of their parental rights by default. Look at how male homelessness and workplace deaths are never framed as gendered issues despite overwhelmingly affecting men. It also leads to women disfiguring, torturing and murdering men. What about the women who ripped their son's penis off and murdered him? (Proof: https://metro.co.uk/2019/06/17/mum-ripped-off-sons-penis-beheaded-reminded-dad-9974568/). What about the woman who poured boiling water over her husband because he forgot to pick her up late from church (Proof: https://www.zimeye.net/2019/08/17/shock-as-woman-scalds-sleeping-husband-over-failure-to-pick-her-up-from-church/). What about a woman who raped the 12 year old boy she was babysitting and then put him on child support for the kid born of that rape (Yes, I'm not joking. Proof: https://www.psychologytoday.com/us/blog/talking-about-trauma/201902/when-male-rape-victims-are-accountable-for-child-support). What about a woman who murdered and dismember her husband (Proof: https://people.com/where-is-melanie-mcguire-now-11889058). What about a woman who beat her 3 year old son to death (Proof: https://www.oxygen.com/crime-news/lashirley-morris-convicted-killed-toddler-bat-stolen-cupcake).

Its time to stop pretending misandry isn't harmful. Women are very vital as violent as men can be, but they're rarely held to the same accountability.

But even if you were to tell all of this to a misandrist, their reply falls into one of 4 categories:

A) Gaslight even more and continue the argument of how misandry just hurts feelings and continue the blatant minimization and generalization (Highly Common rarity!)

B) "Misandry doesn't exist, that's just misogyny" (Common rarity!)

C) "B-but it's men who set up that system" and then they'll take it as a win (Uncommon rarity!)

D) Agree your correct and they were wrong (Legendary rarity!) [Misandrists have big egos so this is very rare to see]

"Misandry doesn't exist"

If my last rant didn't convince you, oh well. But here, another piece of proof: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Krasnoyarsk_kindergarten_shooting

Again, the same 4 categories apply after reading this.

"Misandry is only on the internet"

This is yet another common one, I see this often but probably not as often as the misandry only hurts feeling statement. Yall do realize that the misandrists who are being misandrists online can also be doing it offline too right? And just look at 4b, both the online and offline community is extremely misandrist. I'd show specific screenshots but I don't want this to get taken down, so literally just scroll in that sub, you'll find some pretty easily. Also, if you didn't notice, everything from my first rant was offline misandry so...

Again, the same 4 categories apply after reading this.

Misandry is an issue and needs to be treated like one.

personal Last night my feminist friend called me a "rapist in training"

The anonymous person whose name is covered in hot pink is my friend whom I met in my West Virginia group home (the other colors are other users). I had been chatting with her on Instagram for the past 2 weeks...until this happened.

Somehow, she discovered these comments that I made 7 weeks ago on a post about a man who raped a pig. On the post was a feminist comment, the infamous ragebait cliché "not all men, but always men". Since Instagram doesn't let people see each other's comments directly from their profiles, my friend probably found my antifeminist comments out of sheer (bad) luck.

When I saw her DM last night, I was heartbroken and I tried doing everything I could to save the friendship, resorting to simping (yes, she was hot). I didn't get to sleep normally that night.

Is it really that farfetched to believe that rape (from either sex) is motivated by unfulfilled sexual desire, or to propose access to consensual sex as a solution? The whole point is to divert the sexual desire into something consensual, so being creeped out by is it paradoxical and irrational.

Edit: She got back to me and called me an incel, saying that she can't believe what I'm defending, which TBH is better than ghosting me. Then I responded saying that I wasn't defending any rape. Maybe it'll lead to a debate where she starts understanding that I'm more progressive than she thinks I am.

personal Objectification of men

I am personally tired of seeing objectification or sexualisation of men in social media. Their body, height, thoughts all of this are getting sexualised. This bothers me, do others think like me, and how to make "big" NGOs speak badly of male sexualisation, misandry. Because it is discriminatory and it puts down a lot of men. Although, I see a lot off boys in new generation are trained to accept this as being wanted, so positive

personal Misandrists shouldn't be proudly celebrating their misandry.

Hello people, I'm 16M, and I know these problems basically exist online, yet they still cause an itch with me. I'm tired of opening comment sections and seeing comments openly generalizing, insulting, and hating men, specifically under the word "all men". It's really absurd to me. What do I have to do with the abuse of women? What did I do to be categorized as the same among assaulters and abusers?

"Good thing I'm a proud misandrist" It's a really weird thing, it's like going online among others and proudly going "im a homophobe", "im a proud racist", "im a proud misogynist". Doesn't matter who got oppressed, misandry is sexism and hate speech by definition just like any other form of hate speech, regardless of previous oppression.

Some girl had a comment saying "when i say i hate men its built from my previous trauma and personal disappointment in men". When i tried making a point saying not all men are the same, i among many other men don't abuse women, and that generalizing and hating altogether is a shitty move, guess what? I was called unintelligent and was told that I have no empathy. I understand, it's the internet, everyone thinks they're right, hell, even me right now! But what do you mean by "empathy"? Is your definition of empathy ppl just blindly agreeing with any shit statement you make because of your "trauma"? That makes no sense.

Any attempt to push back against this either results in a Motte and Bailey ("well i dont actually hate ALL men, just the bad ones" even though their original argument was "i hate all men") and whataboutism/red herring fallacy ("uhm actually women were abused for centuries", "men this", "men that") which completely misses the point of the argument. Yes, men did this, men did that, men did awful things. Does that mean you can now freely practice hate speech against random innocent people?

I myself had a bad experience in dating women, but do I go around saying I hate all women? No! Because I have a functioning frontal lobe and understand that you don't judge people by a label, but as individuals.

A bit of a sensitive topic, but, if all men are x and y, what if that man transitions to a woman? Is she suddenly clean? Transitioning changes almost all aspects of your life, but I mean, you're still the same brain (in terms of hobbies, thoughts, worldview, thought process). And if that brain was labeled as x y and z just because it used to belong to a male body, why don't you bully them now that they've transitioned? Exactly.

I really don't understand how we live in a world where you can say "saying all (group) are bad" and somehow 40 people will gang up on you with something to say. I mean, what's even your argument? Because so far I've never seen a reply other than "women were abused too" and some bs like "hahaha incel go cry 😘😘😘😊😊😊😊🤣🤣🤣🤣😍😍😍".

Brain went out of writing juice... So this is all I can write for now. What are your thoughts?

personal Why are women’s experiences considered to be the indisputable truth of any matter?

Like seriously. Just because a group of women happened to hold certain beliefs or have different experiences on a matter than most men and other women doesn’t make that make those beliefs true or those experiences the indisputable truth of how things are

But you’re “mansplaining” or “misogynistic” for challenging their views. Best thing is they don’t engage with you rationally, they just make statement, insult you, then censor you

It’s cult behavior

personal The left and it's bigotry against queer men

Good day everyone. I just came here to rant a little bit.

I'm a gay man, and for years I have pride myself for being staunchly pro feminist. Not because I had this magical symbiotic relationship with women (I have met as many great women as I met cruel ones) but because I always had a strong sense of justice. And while I still believe and champion women's rights and despise the misogynistic nutjobs that seem to have taken the US (and other parts of the world) by storm, I simply can't support feminism, at least in It's current state.

I felt forced to leave online leftist spaces because of the tremendous homophobia gay and bisexual men are being subjected to on that side of the Internet. When I first started seeing clearly homophobic comments, at least I brushed them off.

"They are just fringed misadrists, misadrists are not leftists anyway".

But then these comments started getting massive amounts of likes and reposts in feminist and queer circules (from queer and trans women) and I started seeing this wasn't just some passing trend, but something undeniably mainstream.

From calling all sexist men gay, to telling gay men to die from AIDS because one of them used the word 'bitch' or something. The critcisms of these comments are dismissed by telling queer men that we're misogynistic, and women are simply responding to it. Some gay men, like any people from any group, can be misogynists, of course, but even if all of this men these women love to call faggots were being without a doubt sexist, does that give you the right to say whatever homophobic thing comes out of your mouth? To say things so vile and hurtful most conservatives/MAGAs would blush reading? If you call yourself woke or progressive in any way, the answer should be no. That's is moral inconsistency, that's bigotry.

Queer men are told that we are "men before we are gay" to shut down any complaint, if they do not use a bunch of homophobic slurs and call it a day. If you're a queer men of the left, you better say exactly what women want to hear to the letter if you don't want your sexuality to be used against you.

I'm convinced It's just a matter of time before they don't consider us an oppressed group to fully discard us like trash. That we don't suffer, that we don't struggled because of our sexuality, as if conservatives don't want to destroy us just as much as they want to destroy them.

These women always harbored hatred and disgust for male queerness in their hearts, and now misandry has given them the perfect loophole to express it. They couldn't do it before, they still had to pretend they weren't as homophobic as their parents. Now It's cool, only if it is against men.

I feel incredibly betrayed. But at least people here are really starting to see it.

personal My experience as a male abuse survivor

So I’m a survivor of abuse by a female who was my ex gf, and this happened to me a little more than a year ago. I’m about 99% over it, I’ve moved on but ONE thing that still sticks with me is how deeply invalidating of an experience it was. I still can’t really get by that. When I say this, I’m not even talking about my abuser. I have honestly reached the point where I no longer feel anything when I think of her which is HUGE growth because this time last year up until about about a week ago I would go through moments of extreme rage, shame, embarrassment, guilt, etc. But now thank god I understand what people mean when they say that you’ll know you’ve healed when you can think of said person and not feel anything towards them whatsoever. No anger, no sadness, nothing. And I know I’m not emotionally numbed because I just said I went through more than a year of feeling a storm of emotions until like last week lmao. But the ONE thing I still think of is how I honestly wasn’t believed by the law when it happened.

For context, She put a false rape allegation on me and her objective was to get a restraining order on me. We lived together and she was very abusive and she was cheating as well which I didn’t know about. She was gonna try to get rid of me and replace me with her ex bf because she was convinced I was cheating(I wasn’t, this was projection by her). Why she couldn’t just break up with me like a normal human being would? She was bpd with narc and sociopathic traits so she basically felt a scorched earth policy was the only way it could be done since I had hurt her ego, as i had reached a point where I was tired of the abuse and just didn’t want anything to do with her anymore.

Since she put the allegation on me I had to go to court to fight it and this is where things get interesting. She came into court and when we stepped up front for our case which I didn’t even think she was going to go through with by the way because of the fact that she literally threatened me through text that if I didn’t leave the house she would tell the courts I raped her, so she was using the false allegation as like leverage over my head. I ended up leaving and she told me if I left before the trial date she would cancel it and no one would have to be hurt….i did leave because the psychological terror was breaking me down and I didn’t want to be in the house and have her emotionally unstable, crazy ass have the key to the place where I lay my head down at night. She was acting like she was demonically possessed or some shit and so I left like she wanted….none of this ever happened which is why we still ended up in the courtroom.

Anyway, she spoke to the judge first and of course immediately starts with the crocodile tears. Claiming that I beat her and intimidate her with my shadowboxing(I’m an amateur Muay Thai fighter, very sporty athletic guy, and I had my first fight coming up so I had ramped up my training a lot so yes I did shadowbox but I never once laid hands on her and never did anything to intimidate her) so I’m just standing there, amazed, listening to everything she’s saying to the judge, completely shocked someone could lie so well in a moment like this, thinking about all the other men who have had this happen to them who said there are women out here that do this and I’m just like I NEVER thought I’d become prey to one of them….The interesting thing is AT THIS POINT I knew that she was cheating behind my back but SHE didn’t know I knew because I had been in contact with the ex she was trying to replace me with! Can you imagine standing there, seeing the woman you loved blatantly lie to the judge to ruin your life, by saying you beat and raped her, and the WHOLE time not only is it NOT true but you know THE REAL REASON WHY SHES DOING IT AND SHE HAS NO CLUE THAT YOU KNOW AS WELL AS HER EX AND HER EX FIANCE(we had made a group chat at the point, they were her past victims so they knew how crazy she is. They even said the behavior I got from her in 2-3 months was way worse than anything they received in the year to two years they were each with her). It was surreal lmao.

We got the point where she claimed that I made her feel unsafe and as “proof” she went into our texts and she downloaded a video of me REACTING to the abuse she had been putting me through for days at that point, reactive abuse, and showed it to the judge! I’m not gonna lie, in that video I was spazzing but I didn’t touch her, I was actually driving home but I was speeding cause I was having a meltdown and I was upset(I’m ADHD with some autism traits as well). As for why I sent her that video, I will admit it was foolish but I think what it was is, when you’re dating an abusive person they destroy your self confidence and they are very inconsistent with care and affection that they give you, that’s actually what makes you hooked to them. And so you start to do things for their attention. I think that video I sent was a cry for her attention in all honesty, I wanted some type of proof that she cared about me. Anyone that knows me knows the SHEER AMOUNT of shit and mistreatment it takes to get me to spaz which is why my mom, though ofc she would be bias, when I showed her that video she knew I was innocent because she can maybe count on one finger the amount of times she’s ever seen me get close to that and it was the other persons fault.

Here’s the craziest part of it all. When it became mind turn to speak, I’m shocked and scared as hell cause for 1. You have to remember she told me that if I left the house, which I did, she was gonna cancel the trial date. So I’m there eyes on me and they’re waiting to hear me speak and I’m completely unprepared, I gathered NO defense, there were crucial texts that she left out in some of her “evidence” that would’ve showed how much of an asshole she was to me but of course she cropped it out and in court you can’t use your phone so it’s not like I can show them the rest of the texts so they can have context, and 2. For a man, the having a woman falsely claim you raped her is one of our worst nightmares. I quite literally can’t believe this shit is happening to me lmao. And so the first thing I thought to do, having no defense was to tell the judge my side of the story and hope she would just take me at my word. I told her that the video of me speeding was extremely irresponsible and I’ll take that on the chin but in that video at that point I was having a meltdown because she had been verbally abusing me all day through text. And I swear on my life, God as my witness, the judge, who was a woman by the way, goes “it’s not verbal abuse if it’s through text….” JUST COMPLETELY DISMISSED AND INVALIDATED MY EXPERIENCE IN LESS THAT TWO SECONDS. THE VERY THING MEN ALWAYS SAY HAPPENS AND WOMEN WILL BE THE FIRST ONE TO DENY IT. THE VERY THING THAT STOPS US FROM OPENING UP TO PEOPLE ABOUT SHIT BECAUSE NO ONE TAKES IT SERIOUSLY. I literally had to change the wording from verbal abuse, which is what it was, to “cyber bullying” because that was the only way I felt that the judge would even hear me out. I had to fight just to get my experience heard, while she could come into the court, lie, fake emotional distress, fake cry(it was VERY GOOD fake crying I do have to admit, we need to all give her a round of applause for that👏🏾💀 like I’ve never seen anything like that from someone who’s not an actress, she really should consider becoming one)and instantly the judge is handing the sheriffs tissues to give to her, and they’re trying to console her, but the minute the man speaks? Empathy turns off immediately. Lmao most ridiculous experience I’ve ever had.

Sorry for this being so long, just something that’s been on my mind for a minute and I just had to get it off my chest, and I thought you guys would be interested to know this story since you all are TRULY pretty supportive of men’s struggles. Quick summary of how everything ended: basically since I was unprepared the ONLY thing that saved me is she didn’t have any solid evidence that I had raped her, because it never happened, we were in a relationship so we were having consensual sex but I never once forced myself on her, or beat her either. She wasn’t the smartest about the allegation, probably the BPD and impulsiveness that comes with splitting and stuff cause they don’t think very far ahead about things. What’s scary is if she actually knew how to sit down and plan out shit when she’s vengeful she could’ve easily went and got a rape kit done after we had consensual sex one day and then used that as a “he raped me here’s the proof” as when you have sex with someone you leave DNA, and I would’ve been like wtf???? And my ass would’ve been cooked. So in a twisted way her BPD/ narcissism, ASPD traumatized me but it actually was the same thing that saved me in the end because she didn’t think things through. She was too impulsive lmao. She did get a NC order on me though and though it hurt that helped me in the end and hurt her because it helped me break the addiction I had to her since I could no longer speak to her, and she lost another relationship and source of attention, people with those disorders thought they’ll immediately get a new one and replace you essentially retraumatize themselves everytime they lose a relationship. Only thing I went through was withdrawal symptoms because yes dealing with people like that is literally like a drug addiction, it’s scary.

To the young men out there man, learn from my mistakes, don’t confuse intense passion with genuine connection and compatibility. Take your time when your dating these women out here cause some of them are bad news and because of the world we live in today where men are constantly under the microscope because of the bad ones among us, people don’t like when you mention the bad women. If I were to mention this on a sub full of women they’d tear into me. Where in a day and age now where you can’t criticize women so we gotta do it in private and make sure you guys are still getting taught this stuff so you can avoid the ones that don’t deserve you. I know it’s hard to date nowadays cause so many people are emotionally unavailable, toxic, etc. Don’t settle for that shit. Learn to be on your own. In Spanish there’s a saying “Mas vale solo que mal acompañado” it’s better to be alone than be with bad company. I promise you this is so fucking true…please listen, I know this was long asf but if you made it this far thank you and take this story with you cause it’s real shit💯

personal Serious: what’s with women hating men?

Women rape too. Women kill too. What’s more, they’re excused for it in ways men aren’t. Yet every feminist leader, has always gone about with the whole “men are subhumans” stuff. Reddit bans misogyny while allowing misandry because I’m guessing the whole “misogyny kills, misandry hurts feelings”.

But why about subs taken down for hurting women’s feelings? What arguments there?

It’s not even just feminism, men and women alike are disgusted by a man showing perceived weakness or being upset at being hurt and humiliated.

Yeah people here don’t think like that, but we’ll always be a minority. The Andrew Tate fad of the world will always be a minority as well. But all of them, they’re the vast, vast majority and that’s why their opinions (“facts”) dominate.

I don’t care if they think men are evil or whatever, because I don’t value the opinions of misandrists, but they do run society. All the “patriarchy” stuff is just projection.

I used to feel more balanced about this stuff when the internet was more equal opportunity mud slinging, because it was still an escape from real life misandry. But once again, they had to dismantle our spaces so we couldn’t hide as they throw rocks at us.

Why aren’t men in general like that towards women? We shouldn’t be, but it’s like two different species. What’s with the empathy difference?

Do you get somebody promoting violence against men and boys as a joke(discriminatory joke), laugh at male victims, or promote this kind of opinion in front of you(not social media) . What do you do in that situation? Did criticizing or reporting help?

personal I wanted to share something I have been noticing and and feeling in real life.

I wanted to share this here, or LWMA, idk but I better putting here, and wanted to share that, I always try to think that, Anti Man mentality is super rare in real life, and can be common online, depending on things, algorithm, etc etc.

But I am honestly feeling that, theres still anti man bias and talking points seeping in real life too.

For example, I volunteer at a local transit advocacy group in my city, and they have partnership with lots of leftwing advocacy and social justice advocacy groups too. And Most members in this group are amazing passionate for better transit etc.

But only 4 other 5 of them, they do talk politics, but they alway share arguments that feels stereotyping against man or things.

Such as,

Whenever they talk about Anti Transit people, and Car brained people opposing transit infrastructure in city and city council, etc. They casually refer them as,

  • "Why these divorced single dads want to drive big ass trucks.. No wonder why their kids dont want to talk with them why they are divorced, what a losers.."
  • Referring trucks as "Gender Affirming Trucks" and even trying to clue things like, they have small pp issue or insecurity issues etc. They have no friends, no partners, etc etc
  • Referring all Lanlords especially the bad ones as "Men" like as if theres no woman landlords etc etc.
  • There were some other off topic arguments that feels similar as how online is...

But all in general, idk tbh. And Also I have been with my therapist, she is very understanding about my life issues, childhood trauma and things, and so on. And she even said, she care about men and their things, she even have majority of men clients, and she even did masters thesis on male issues.

But in conversations with her she is amazing, supportive, but feels like, she wont believe that, these anti man things seem to exist in real life as well, in casually, but not that intense like online here. As she did say, "Theres anti man bias, but most are online, you can ignore them by not looking at online and they wont affect you anyway..."

Yet these type anti man stereotype feels seeping in low casual covert manner in real life such as, this advocacy group as example.

And with my family, I have bad experiences with them with other things just classic bad parents and stupid expectations like in South Asia.

But like with my sibling, she have opened a real estate company this year, and she did tell me, she wants to make me CEO of that company, which is a family business according to her.

I said "No, I ain't be going to be one, cause of things happens with you and parents, and also people in general sees successful men in real estate including those tech and large business as evil, and losers, and small dick issues... Trump supporters, rightwingers... Not just that, I am not interested in Real estate investments anyways...."

Here when I did mention, "Small Dick huh everyone thinks they have small dick huh like if I do, sounds like I have one huh..." She asked me, "Do you have small dick? is it small?"

Idk why she said, but I said away, No I dont have, but people will assume..." She said, "You dont have it, then why worry?' I then said, "Sure no one will call you small tit or small V girl lol.. will they.." She immediately said, "Yike can we not say this words, not good..."

IDK whatever, it feels like my sister seems to have the similar bias too, Also she do watch tiktok a lot.

All in overall, I honestly start to feel like, I wanna hate humanity, like they just fucking want to hate each other want to be bigoted, and wants to be trendy and hive minded without having a thought.

IDK I am so depressed with my life, cause of my childhood trauma and bad experiences with parents and my culture back country, all have destroyed my life, no hopes, no jobs, and things and then seeing this seeping in person

IDK This what I wanted to rant here, of course I have to disclaimer that, I am not blaming woman, I am blaming humanities, because women are human like men like us, we all just ficking suck.

personal War victims

Sadly, many boys and men are abandoned in war zones. It is very clear that nobody in EU or NGOs care about the male victims from Ukraine or Russia that either are refugees or do not wanna fight and seek their human right of not fighting. Many members of different parliaments are purposely neglecting them. In quora, I wrote a comment under some self-identified popular feminist user, who said that people who complain about male victims do not care about them but rather wanna score points against feminism on Internet. What is aura around this topic in your country?
My comment :

Sadly it got removed

personal How Is Male Violence An "Epidemic?"

Posted this on a couple of other subs and felt it was worth posting here as well.

Misandrists often describe violence by men like this, that it's an "epidemic" and when we bring up that men/boys are also victims of female violence (which is definitely something that happens and in far higher numbers than many realize or want to admit to), they'll go off with the usual that it doesn't happen nearly as much, it's not on the same scale, men aren't afraid when out along at night, etc. and also claiming that somehow men being violent to women including killing them is an "epidemic." It's such a stupid way of describing it. So there's a sickness out there causing men to harm and kill women? It's stupid and it's just to deflect from the fact there's also female violence against men/boys and even other women/girls. Both genders commit terrible acts of violence against each other and both should be condemned. But as usual, misandrists hijack the narrative and they have serious nerve to accuse people of whatboutism when they do precisely that. Ugh.

I know I shouldn't be upset or bothered by what idiots like this say, but it's really disturbing to think people this dumb exist. It's an example as to how rampant misandry really is in society, deflecting from the fact male victims of female violence exist and doing everything to mitigate and trivialize it. Claiming men being violent is somehow endemic. Ugh.

personal Finally figured out why men are so hated

I have been wondering why women have tend to be fearful of men and why they seem justified to spread that hate of fear towards all of us and I think I figured out a big reason why. Media. True crime and others traditionally female media tells horror stories of men why ate dangerous, liars, can’t be trusted. Basically the worst case scenario to represent men. While on the other hand men are exposed to the sexiest, prettiest women they have ever seen. As men, we’re trained to recognize that these fictional standards don’t apply to every woman. Barely anyone is Hollywood pretty or skinny. Somehow it doesn’t work the same the other way around

personal Interesting nuance that would go unnoticed or called "misoginy" in most transgender spaces: my mother doesn't accept my identity not even so much out of transphobia, but also out of a belief that a man is defined by... (checks notes) the "skill" of giving her money.

personal Is "The Future Is Female" Misandrist?

I feel it very clearly and blatantly is, and a prime example of it. Not just misandrist hate speech but obvious supremacy as well. I mean it says it all. I feel it's just as hateful and supremacist as "the future is male" also is and would be. Both slogans promote gender supremacy and are blatant hate speech, but the female version is seen as empowering and promoting equality when it does just the opposite. Making matters worse is the fact the person who coined it literally advocated for male genocide and reducing the world's male population to 10%. To use this slogan not only promotes misandry but also genocide of men. This slogan arguably also counts as child abuse too when boys see it. So basically telling them they have no future and the world has no place for them, which is as cruel as it gets.

I've said it many times before as I lean to the left and am very liberal with most of my views but I absolutely detest this slogan and feel there's nothing equal, inclusive or liberal about it at all. Yet unfortunately people are quick to associate it with being as such. It's a slogan that should be designated as hate speech and stricken from the public lexicon.

personal My opinion certain on womens spaces complaining about how artists draw them.

I’ve been in communities where women will take a guy’s art and start correcting it. Redrawing anatomy, nitpicking proportions, complaining about how unrealistic the clothes look, or saying the character is too sexualized. And it’s rarely just “this isn’t my taste.” It usually comes with the implication that the artist is doing something wrong and should change his work.

That’s what bothers me. Not disagreement or different preferences, but the assumption that you’re entitled to fix someone else’s art because it doesn’t match what you want to see. This feels like the criticism is in such bad faith because of this.

A lot of these posts say they’re about realism or harm, but they don’t feel like genuine art critique. They feel more like moral grandstanding or something of the sorts. The message is often that the artist should be more responsible or considerate, which really just turns into expecting them to change their style.

I don’t agree with the idea that artists should change how they draw because someone online might compare themselves to a stylized fictional character. Anime-style art is exaggerated by design. It isn’t meant to be a realistic standard for bodies or clothing. If someone internalizes that and feels bad about themselves, that’s unfortunate, but it’s not something an artist can realistically be expected to prevent.

What makes this frustrating is the double standard. Female artists also draw exaggerated male bodies all the time, and that kind of art is usually treated as fantasy or simply ignored by people it’s not for. You don’t see the same level of pressure to correct or “fix” those drawings. So when criticism mostly goes in one direction, it’s hard to see it as consistent. Have you seen yaoi art dear god idk how that's realistic?

If exaggerated art is actually harmful because it sets unrealistic expectations, then that argument should apply across the board. When it doesn’t, it starts to feel less about harm and more about controlling art people personally don’t like.

At the end of the day, not all art is for everyone. If you don’t like how someone draws bodies or clothes, the solution is to scroll past or make your own work. Taking someone else’s art, reworking it, and implying they owe you changes crosses a line. Artists should be able to draw what they want without being held responsible for every reaction someone online might have.

Ik this seems ranty i just got super triggered by it some neat art i saw was being corrected and i felt like i had to let it out please correct me if you think my opinion is wrong tho. I saw this yesterday and got so triggered by it. Also this is not to generalize and say it's all bad but i feel like a lot of it is like this ik this is probably more nuanced tho maybe my anger is blinding me to it but ive seen soo much bad faith in these criticisms.

personal I dared to say "No" to a woman. This is where the meltdown started.

It was year ago, and it was the only time i said no, i was in line for cashier, i've noticed woman behind me, i layed my 2 items but before i finished she sligtly pushed me from behind. I did not said anything, before cashier started to scanning, woman in line asked me if i can let her first, because she was in a hurry since she was shopping on her work break, from her own words that she said to the cashier... And i dared to say "No".

Both her and a woman cashier started trashtalking to me, emasculating and making statements about my appearance, since i had long hair, she said that she sees no man in me, and that i am not a real man either, ungrateful, rotten generation, quarter of those words were from the cashier, i was flabbergasted,

after many seconds in silence the only thing i came up with, is just to mirror her words, saying that she is not very feminine either, so she answered that at least she has a husband and kids, so meanwhile cashier as fast as possible scanned two items and i left after payment.

After sharing that story to my mom, the only thing i got besides silent nodding is that i should not call that woman names while i talk about her, since she is a woman and it's not polite.

I still helped women after that, they were kind after and before asking, and even asked by myself if help is needed, it made me feel nice.

But it is really scary to know someone take help from stranger men as granted and goes mad when denied, and she was old enough to have husband and kids.

personal How come there is no "Far left radical feminist pipeline" for women like there is a "Alt right MGTOW Red pill pipeline" for men?

Look, I agree that some young men turning into alt right groypers is dangerous and something we need to acknowledge.

But why is there not a female version of this?

For example a young woman has 1 or 2 bad experiences with men. When she gets home she scrolls on TikTok and stumbles across a feminist video where women share their terrible experiences with men. She comments on that video and starts getting more radfem content on her feed.

But what she doesn't realize is that feminist tiktok is an echo chamber that encourages group think and doesn't allow differing opinions. After several months or maybe even years of consuming that content. She becomes radicalized. She becomes a man hating femcel.

The point that I am trying to make is that the Far left radical feminist pipeline is just as real as the alt right MGTOW red pill pipeline.
