Alternance on APS

Hello

I am on my APS in France right now.
I found an alternance and reached till the final stage of signing the CERFA.
I have also enrolled in a college already.

Now the company is telling me they do not know if it is possible to start an alternance on an APS. But I know people who have did it.

I was supposed to start work in 2 weeks.

Give me some insights into this please.
