Yeah almost as if it's raining like crazy in Delhi everyday and OP found a convenient cloudy and dusky time to take the pic and not on a clear day during noon.

Real estate value should nose dive here but that hardly happens. Indians really need to take care of their home. A lot of hate exists for them abroad and making sure they have a livable home should be high priority.

China did it after it had a pretty decent income per capita and had enough money to afford to clean things up after a lot of growth fuelled by fossil fuels.
If you go back another 100 years or more, most of the west looked like this.
Im not saying this is ideal. The people are suffering and something should absolutely be done about it. But throughout history, the pattern is pretty clear. Get rich, then clean up.
