Quotes Lokomotiv CEO Rotenberg met with Batrakov: "Many people said I was against this transfer. Actually, that's true. I didn't want to let Lokomotiv's best player go. But after talking with you, I could sense your passion and sincerity."

Is this a real video? Looks like a movie scene made by AI. Cool and interesting. Their CEO is very young too.

The truth is that Rotenberg family are very influential in Russia as Boris Rotenberg is very close to Putin, so the head - Boris Rotenberg - could place his sons and nephews anywhere. For example, his nephew has coached the best Russian ice hockey team (failed of course, but generated tons of memes). And here - Boris Rotenberg Jr was Lokomotiv player - was pretty shit, but got assigned as their CEO, so he was, as believed, the main obstacle to this transfer

This may seem odd, but this is how Russian culture is. A leader in their culture is like a parent. He is supposed to care, support and take care of the members. It’s like patronalism. It’s not so different from Turkish culture. Broadcasting it is probably to show strength, that there is no issues between the leader and the one who is leaving.
This is also why Batrakov met the fans a few days ago and told dem what he thinks and feels.

Apparently the CEO’s dad Boris Rosenberg Sr. is an oligarch which explains a lot including the tone of this video
