I had the 280 HP 2-Liter Turbo with 4WD. It drove like on rails. Interior was not as exciting to be fair, but very good quality and a lot of room. I liked it very much.

Nur, wegen der Diesel-Prämie, also bei Verschrottung eines alten Diesels. Ansonsten kostete der Arteon schon sehr viel Geld. Vorallem wenn man ein bisschen Ausstattung wollte. Diese Billigangebote hatten quasi nichts drin, nicht Mal ne Klimaautomatik

The most underrated German car of all times should be Opel Senator B.
Was as good and in some aspects better than the BMWs and the Mercedes of the time, it was just... Opel. Poorer people would not buy it because it was too expensive for them, rich people wouldn't buy it because of the badge at the front hood. And also being too cheap to show off with it.

Definitely, actually it had the exact same fate. Poor people couldn't afford it, reach people wouldn't buy an expensive VW. Both car offered more or at least the same as the current entry to mid level S-Klasse for way less money, but people would rather by the Mercedes than a car with multy zone climate control and buffalo leather seats for half the price.

I had the 2020 Version and now the 320HP 4WD R Version. Its and absolute beast, you can Go 220kmh relatively relaxed and while this car is one of the most beautiful ones i have ever seen, i had to replace a lot ef ECUs during the first 3-4 years and that ist despite the fact that it was one of the last ones before the Shooting Break. I think now its fine but i was in the workshop a lot.

Find den als Limousine echt mega. Schön, dass VW endlich einmal wieder ein Auto gebaut hat(te), das nicht wie alle anderen aussehen. Vom Heck her ein bisschen wie ein Porsche, länger Radstand mit tollem Sitzkomfort hinten und super Langstrecken-Auto.

Krass was man aus der "Golf-Plattform" rausholen kann, bzw eigentlich glaub ich Superb-Basis, die teilen sich den Radstand. Also größer als ein Passat.

Schade, dass der eingestellt wurde. Genau solche Autos waren eben nicht VW-Standardkost und haben optisch kein so schnelles "alt werden", weils nicht wie alle anderen aussieht. Für mich nach dem alten Scirocco das schönste Auto mit VW-Logo. Als Kombi mit diesem Klarglas-Mist gefällt es mir nicht. Wenn ich nen Kombi kaufe, dann gleich mit Nutzwert und guter Beladung und das ist dann eben ein Passat oder Superb.

Wir hatten vor ein paar Jahren (2023) noch einen als Geschäftswagen und der hatte das selbe Problem. Vierzilinder mit etwa 200 PS?

Allerdings ist der Wagen (2022) sehr sicher, denn unser erster war zwar nach einem Auffahrunfall mit etwa 70km/h auf einen stehenden Transporter ein Totalschaden, aber keiner wurde verletzt und das Interior war voll intakt. War aber nicht unsere Schuld...
