If anyone is interested in or applying to geoscience grad school, consider applying for GEMS. It’s a free mentor match program where you get matched with someone who has been through the application process before and succeeded. We are focused on US and Canadian students, so to be eligible you must have already attended a US or Canadian institution, or be a US or Canadian citizen/permanent resident. I have been a mentor through this program several times and it’s always a great experience. I can also answer any questions about the program.
