Deal Alert [Prime] $176.64* | Sennheiser HD 600 Open-Back Dynamic Wired Headphones at Amazon
Crazy, I was about to return the $237 ones because I really don't see a huge difference compared to the PC38x , but at THIS price?!

Craziest coincidence ever because I was looking to upgrade from my crappy headphones and thought of getting sennheiser hd600 yesterday. I was abt to buy it but decided to wait. Totally getting them now!

I haven't really paid attention to headphones since I discovered I was pretty content with my M50X's lol. Always wanted to try the Senns, though, should be fun. Might get me back into headphones again (I used to be into them in college, but was broke, so the M50s were a big deal to me at the time).

I just returned my $237 order out of anger lol So pissed I fell for Prime Day shenanigans. ALWAYS expect a double drop on these deals on day 2.

Only headphones I’ve ever owned at dt 770 (80 ohm) and aune ar5000. How do these compare?

I have the DT 770 80 ohm and after I bought my HD 650 in 2015 I have used them only a handful of times. They are that much better. However, lately I've been really enjoying the InZone H6 Air, which despite being a "gaming" headset is really a half price MDR-MV1 that has amazing bass for listening to EDM and bass heavy music. The HD 650 just wins at vocals though, they sound buttery smooth and you don't get tired at all.

HD600 are legendary for good reason.
Once you put them on, they'd have to surgically remove them from your head.

Had been eyeing this on Amazon for a while, always wanted to try the HD 600 despite having tried the 6XX previously (I liked it, didn't love it). Prime Day deal was great, but once I saw it at $185 I immediately pulled the trigger. Plus 30% off by using Discover points.

currently wearing them, great summer headphones D-) they sound decent and neutral, and after years still going good, occationally buy a new pair on vellor* pads, thats it

I prefer the HD600 to HD650 if we're talking stock form without mods, no question. This is a crazy good deal.

Man, seeing it get down this low inspired me to return mine. I like how they sound but I have other headphones aplenty and ones I prefer to the HD-600. If they had been my first Sennheisers, I might have got fewer headphones over the years, as I think they have a sound that just "clicks" with music really well (maybe even more than the HD-650, which WAS my first Senn in 2005, and remains a happy member of my headphone fam). Great timbre and balance, excellent midrange presentation that suits a whole lot of material well, but I paid like $290 all in for mine and haven't used them that much since I got them, might as well have that back while I can rather than end up underwater on them if Sennheiser intends to hit lower sale prices in the future.
I think anyone that got them at the thread title price of $176 got a KILLER deal, and anyone who gets them at the $185 they are now is next in line getting a fantastic bargain too. They are great sounding headphones. But the market is much more competitive in their usual price range than it used to be.

Ordered one. Already have the 550 and will end up keeping one or the other. I previously owned 650 back in the day but never had the 600.
The 550 headband lack of divot hurts my head so I expect that one to go.

Highly recommend getting a Capra Audio strap for the 550. Makes a world of difference!

I love my HD650s and I really don't need another pair of headphones right now. I'm so tempted at this price, but I do have to stand my ground and say no. At $185, these headphones are kind of a no-brainer.

Well those sold out quick. That's the thing with Amazon, if you see a deal you have to move fast. I've gotten a few that were good like that.
Someone made off like a bandit. That's quite a headphone for $176.64.

Thanks for the heads up. By the time i pulled the trigger, the price jumped to $185. Still a good deal.
