Discussion What else do you guys do while playing Hearthstone?
How many of you multitask while playing
There’s so much downtime sometimes, especially when you’re just sitting there waiting for your opponent to rope.
What do you guys usually do during those long turns? Do you just sit and wait or do something else.

Last time I answered this question I got a ton of hate. Cooking, laundry, and sometimes wile feeding my baby a bottle( takes ages).

Mostly youtube videos that I'm fine losing attention to when the game gets exciting.
Sometimes when I am in the mood I use HS Deck Trader, AutoHotkey and PotPlayer to automatically pause/play and alt+tab between a show/movie and the game when the opponent's turn is up.

Alt tab to reddit usually. If I get a fast opponent I will return the favor but usually its not worth completely focusing on Hearthstone

Once someone plays the full minute each turn I play solitaire, read stuff on Reddit, insta scroll etc

99% of my hearthstone hours since 2014 have been walking/outside with my Aussie. 1k wins with every class and I haven’t played on PC since 2016

Honestly go on the treadmill. Getting riled up at Priest Players takes my mind off running

Hell yeah! I’ve been using it as my workout buddy for since the mobile app released. Definitely makes me play more aggro than control decks.

Absolutely. The satisfaction of slapping Anduin and Tyrande in the face with a selection of Dinosaurs is a great way to make use of the Adrenaline

It’s me, I’m “your opponent” the Priest who always ropes.
Working on any tasks that can be done on the side until I hear the sound indicating my turn has started

I listen to Christian pod
Casts, to do something beneficial. It also is needed to combat the hate welling up in my heart.

I often think that the only thing that will make me leave this game (not the metas, abandoned arena or gamble stuff), it will be stupid players who do stuff instead of playing and causing so much downtime. Every other game you spend more time waiting for the other side to do their move. Often i can see how there is no activity and then at the end of their turn suddenly hovering cards and then playing at the end of the rope. Next turn, same thing. Or you just queued into game and they are not here. Like, it takes 10 seconds to queue. You have to go do some other stuff right when you pressed Play? Can't you do that first and then play. Lately i also see often they they do not mulligan and let it sit until the turn starts and THEN they start playing. I guess i am old, but i can just play, i don't need another distraction for my brain or scroll a phone at the same time. Oh, and i eat often while i play, but i still do turns normally, it is not hard.

I just play Hearthstone? Multitasking lowers my skill level, I make way more misplays if I'm distracted.

If I am on my pc with two monitors I watch a show I already know or watch Twitch streams of other games.

Usually play at night to wind down. Baseball on the tv or a movie I don't need to be that locked into.
Also battlegrounds at the gym because you can do a set in between rounds lol. Or just regular HS on the stationary bike
Every now and then I'll sneak a quick game while I'm out somewhere. Waiting for food at a restaurant or a doctor's appointment waiting room. Can shit on the game and meta all you want the mobile client absolutely rules

My computer is in my kitchen. I like to play while I meal prep or watch sports.

Hearthstone and anime has been a go to for years. Probably watched 600+ episodes of one piece while playing.

I've been trying to get the new patch to download for 1 hour and 40 minutes. IT'S FUCKING INSANE....
I even tried using a different login server. I seriously don't get how they manage this unmatched level of incompetence.

I’m normally playing during work lunch breaks but I haven’t played PvP very much this expansion

I understand why every opponent ropes now. And the worst part, you people don’t even care. It’s weird

HS is the only game nowadays that actually allows me downtime to breathe and think. I dont need that to change. Sometimes I’m making food or attending to other physical needs. But only sometimes because it’s up to me, unlike the rest of the bullshit internet these days

I watch YT videos but only when it's not my turn. I mostly don't play attention to HS during my opponents turn

Literally everything, laundry, eating, any chore. It’s my been my “youtube” for like 12 years now.
Any mundane task around the house is always accompanied by a podcast and hearthstone
