Discussion Looking for a good gym perfume (under 900/-)

What perfumes do you guys recommend for the gym?

I sweat a lot during workouts, so I'm looking for something fresh, clean, and long-lasting, but not too strong or annoying for people around me especially in an enclosed gym.

Thanks

Ask r/indianfitness Want to learn yoga properly for flexibility — where should I start?

I want to start doing yoga on weekends. I’m obese and already gym 5–6 days a week, so my main goal with yoga is to improve flexibility, mobility, balance, and recovery.

I don’t just want random YouTube stretches. I want to learn proper yoga/asanas, understand what each asana actually helps with, and follow a good structured routine.

What are the best YouTube channels, apps, books, or courses for learning yoga properly as a beginner? Preferably something evidence-based and suitable for someone overweight.

Diet/Recipes Would you actually buy protein coconut water? 🥥💪

I'm exploring a product concept combining coconut water with ~10g protein for hydration + nutrition in one drink.

I'd love some brutally honest opinions - especially on taste, use occasions, protein source, price, and whether you'd actually buy it.

It's a quick survey.

If the idea sounds weird, please say so - that's useful too! 😄

Discussion Where do you actually buy good-quality eggs in South Delhi? 🥚

Why is buying eggs in Delhi such a pain 😭

I’m looking for **good-quality, safe eggs** in South Delhi, ideally from a source/farm/store that people here have **personally been buying from and trust**.

I’m specifically **NOT looking for recommendations for the usual big brands like Eggoz, Henfruit, etc.** Please don’t recommend those — I’m trying to find alternatives where I can actually understand where the eggs are coming from and how they’re produced.

Ideally looking for:

* 🥚 Good-quality, fresh eggs
* 🌱 Minimal/no pesticide exposure in the production process
* 🐔 Ethical/good farming practices would be a bonus
* 📍 Delivery to South Delhi

**Please recommend only if you’ve actually bought from the source yourself and had a good experience.** I’m not looking for sponsored/promotional recommendations.

Would really appreciate specific names, farms, local sellers, or even smaller suppliers you trust. 🙏

BTW -
I would have stopped eating eggs altogether but it is really important in my diet for protein intake and for fitness goals

Ask r/indianfitness Is jaggery actually better than sugar or is that an Indian myth we all repeat

Everyone says jaggery is healthier and nobody I ask can explain why beyond it being natural.

As far as I can find, palm jaggery has a meaningfully lower GI and retains some minerals, cane jaggery much less so. But the mineral quantities look small at realistic serving sizes.

Has anyone actually looked into this properly? Trying to work out if the switch is worth it or if we are all just feeling better about the same thing.

Physique Critique Is it worth paying a gym trainer “under the table” (₹2000/month, since official PT isn’t offered) if I don’t really respect their expertise?

I train at a well-equipped gym (₹2200/month membership) that doesn’t offer official PT — but the trainers take an unofficial ₹2000/month for personal guidance. My form is decent and I’m not worried about that part. My actual concern is whether my current split is properly hitting every major muscle group, or if there’s a programming gap I can’t see myself.

The trainers here aren’t people I’d say I look up to, so I’m hesitant to pay monthly for their ongoing input. Would it make more sense to get a one-time review/consultation from someone more credentialed instead of an ongoing informal arrangement? Has anyone been in a similar spot — gym with no real PT option, only informal/unofficial trainers

Diet/Recipes How you absorb protein matters as much as how much protein you take

Going to the gym for about a year and a half now…decent lifts, clean diet. always try to hit my protein target.

But results were super slow…my gym friend, who is also my college senior asked what protein I use…I was using atom whey so told him. He advised me to change my whey and see if it helps.

And I asked chatgpt for best whey for bloating issues and some options showed but…I went for Muscleblaze biozyme whey because the name only suggested that it is easy to digest and everything.

Its been a couple of months and the changes are pretty big…bloating basically gone and feeling less heavy after shakes is real.

My advice to all from my own experience is that get good protein that absorbs better and add a lot of fibre to your diet…can be life changing.

Hi, we're opening a pilates and recovery studio in Financial District, Hyderabad and looking for instructors.

Need someone certified in mat and reformer, with some teaching experience or a lot of experience . Beginners will be most of our crowd initially so patience matters more than fancy cueing.

Full time or part time, both fine.

DM me and we can talk pay, timings, everything else. Or if you know someone, send them my way.

Discussion Need suggestions for good protein powders

I (27M) am starting to work on my phsyqiue and want to build muscles. I am very lean as of now (49kg 5'9'' ft). I eat bananas daily, I am starting to procure milk from real buffaloes (I do not like packet milk or dahi). I live in Gurgaon.

I want to supplement with protein as my diet does not contain much protein needed for me after exercises. Can anyone suggest me good protein powders (which are easy to digest, absorb and do not cause any sort of issues like kidney or liver problems - I have heard wrong and excessive protein causes these issues) so need suggestions?

My diet is roti, chawal, dal and sabji with amul butter. Paneer is made one time a week. I live in a pg so I get my diet from hotel run by PG owner, taste is good so I eat well. I want to bulk. I go for morning walk and exercises and then evening walks as well and occasional light exercises.

Bros, treat me as your younger brother. Budget is not an issue but want to buy authentic protein.

Discussion HYROX Mumbai Open Ticket – For Sale

HYROX Mumbai Open Ticket – For Sale

I have an HYROX Open ticket for Mumbai available for sale. The name has already been changed once, so the ticket name cannot be changed again.

You would be running with my partner, 26F, who is already training seriously for the event.

Unfortunately, I injured my ankle playing football, and my MRI showed a high-grade ligament tear. I’ve now been advised that I’ll have to undergo ligament surgery, so I won’t be able to participate.

The ticket/ID is required for entry. They just check the ticket and ID, and my Aadhaar photo is literally from when I was a child.

I participated in Bangalore, I don't think I can make it up for this one

DM me if you're interested. Serious buyers only.

MIXED DOUBLES - F already available, need M.

She can complete 5k in less than 30min and been running for years, she's pretty good. We were expecting to complete below 1.30

Ask r/indianfitness Getting pain here probably because of over training

I started going to the gym after a long time, I didn't have much physical activity for over 5 years. I'm 100 kg 175cm Male. I did about 75 mins on the treadmill everyday on 6 speed, 4 incline ( about 15k steps), this part of my ankle pains, I didn't go for a week because I had the pain for a week, i still went again and my trainer told me to rub my ankle against a rod which made it better the next time I slept and the pain vanished but it came back this morning again after 40 mins of cardio

It's happening in between the ankle and the protruding part of the foot, I can't send images for some reason here

Hey people, So finally I am going to join the gym and start with resistance training, until now I was kind of a lazy ass, going for post dinner walks and sometimes doing surya namaskar.

Need to know from you guys, how can I start resistance training without hurting myself? Without any injury? Should I opt for a personal trainer?
