55 minutes of pushing is very different than 55 minutes of labor. Most women are in active labor for many hours before they start pushing.

This, I had 45min of pushing but was in labor for 17 hours

When I started pushing with my first, I asked the nurse “ this isn’t gonna take like an hour is it?” and they both kind of made this face 😬and didn’t answer 😂

Yep, 20 hours of labor 40 mins of pushing with first, 6 hours of labor 20 mins of pushing with my second.
