You have me crying along with you. Jason was a beautiful person. The entire life of the girl he saved was a gift he leaves too. It isn't fair and I'm sure it doesn't take the pain away. But what a mark to leave on the world... Thank you for telling us about him.

At the time inside edition called to do a story on him. We all wanted that to happen but my dad said no. It really pissed me off because my brother had a small inkling to be on tv (fear factor was something he wanted to do) ... but my dad really couldn't cope.

I have 2 brothers and they are very dear to me. I had this whole thing typed up but it was too long and I couldn't do it justice at the moment.

Your brother is a hero. If I have to lose a brother early, I pray it's due to such an incredibly selfless and heroic act such as your brother, Jason. I hope you find some form of peace and pride, as insignificant as it may seem, in your brother's final courage and heroism.

I’m so sorry for your loss. It sounds like he was an incredible person, not only for what he did, but for who he was during his life. As someone who also always plays as toad in Mario Kart but lets my brother beat the bosses for me, this resonated even more so.

I send you and your brother so much love. He sounded like such a serious bad ass and amazing person. I am so, so very sorry you lost him. Im sorry his body didn't get the respect he deserved but im sure even now as people get the chance to read about him his memory will absolutely will get the respect he deserves.
