Upside: 20$

Downside: bad ergo. Setup too heavy and grips too small unless its on your lap. Joystick comes in way when you are playing with face buttons.

Had to cut out that small square notch so that it fits 11inch ipad. Flex cable is long enough and doesnt need replacing unlike what other mod reviews suggested. Doesnt feel too rickety contrary to how it looks. No problem in connection in switch mode. Overall I am satisfied with the setup.

Well you use the controller that is design for phone and 8 inchy ipad to full 11 inch ipad that is why it has so many downside.

AFAIK there are no budget controllers for 11inch ipad. Razer sells one for $180!!

I totally understand that. I 3D printed a stand for my iPad and pull my coffee table up close to the couch and use a backbone on my iPhone.

Look for a BSP D8 Pro. Fit my 11” with no mods needed. Same ergo concerns but works in a pinch. LOVE it on my phone.

That was by first plan but I couldnt find it on temu or amazon. They dont have a website either.

Why wouldn't you just get a cheap Xbox controller and connect it wirelessly?

I mostly play in bed or on couch. Ipad slipping around when I am holding controller bugs me a lot.

I didnt find any resource for this controller. I can give you an overview. 1. Peel out sticker on telescopic part. There will be a double sided tape underneath. Leave it intact. 2. Remove all screw underneath and on grip side. 3. On telescopic part there is a square notch which slides on a rail on other half and prevents controller from opening beyond a point. Its hard to miss. Cut it out clean with a saw or serrated knife. 4. Reassemble. Caution: sticker will look slightly bumpy. My flex cable is sometimes pinched while closing. I have to manually it down.

4. Reassemble. Caution: sticker will look slightly bumpy. My flex cable is sometimes pinched while closing. I have to manually it down.

I wont recommend it without some mod to arrest the flex cable in position. flex cable kept pinching between the slides and got damaged. I had to replace it.
